    NFL needs to get serious about intentional shots to the head.

    Anybody,including Brandon Spikes,who targets an opponent's head in any way should be:

    1. Immediately kicked out of the game.

    and

    2. Banned from the NFL for the rest of the season,pending a review for proof that it was a deliberate act.

    Guys are getting hurt badly. Just because it doesn't show does not mean it isn't serious.

    so we decide it is a deliberate act and then look for proof it was a deliberate act?

    I agree!  Ridley should have been thrown out of that game for lowering his head into Pollard.
