I would quit too if the OC couldn't utilize the talent on the offense.   Must be just a waste for Scar to watch this joke of an offensive gameplan go in big game after big game.

    good move Scar.

Will people ever do their homework? All it takes is one trollish or drama queen thread and off it goes into drama queen land.

Apparently, BB is going away and Brady will be traded. lol

Tell us again about how Seattle has had top 10 picks for a decade straight even though their draft picks were posted for you to see, dum bazz.

Coaches are sick of watching BB pissaway the last years of Brady's career with poor drafts and FA pickups.  Can't blame them.

Maybe Brady goes to Houston too.

(all the other coaches are leaving and we all know cuz crusty told us, that he's the OC)

Hell, I would if I were him.

Actual NFL receivers and a defense.  He wouldn't know what to do with himself.

Cept take a team from zero to hero.

Man, that would be one happy and appreciative city, unlike some of the the fickle Foxborough fans.Tongue Out

Oh, I just read this one.

    Brian McIntyre @brian_mcintyre 47m

RT @TonyGrossi: Confirmed: #Browns and #Patriots OC Josh McDaniels had more conversations this week. Possibly back in mix.

No worries, BB can do it all.  He's the bestest!

Patricia was an offensive lineman, whatk does ne know about defense?

Whether you like Patricia or not, making the comment that a guy played football on one side of the ball and therefore knows nothing about the opposing side of the ball shows exactly how little you understand about team sports concepts, strategies and coaching in general.

It has absolutely no bearing on weather he can understand, break down, and effectively communicate the necessary techniques and or concepts to the point of being fluidly actionable.

Up to you to believe he does it well enough to your liking or not. You are entitled to your opinion but suggesting because he was once an offensive player automatically eliminates him from any possibility of being successful at it is moronic.

True. Lets just say then that Patricia sucks Regardless of what side of his balls he's played with today. He clearly is a DC in training, and a team on the cusp of putting it all together should be working with top tier talent...not an intern.

He's going to be our new OC. Apparently he's qualified because he played lacrosse and was a long snapper at Rutgers. Oh, and he knows Schiano. Perfect fit.

Yes, almost forgot that convenient fact. Do you think it could be a nfl first? First time in history that a GM has changed the pampers of an OC he has hired.

Maybe you are right, maybe not...but is Patricia the best a team like the pats can do? If so, may we are further away than I thought. This guy might be the best coach of all time, but having some type of prior DC experience can't hurt, can it?

Pepper bothers me more than Scar.

Why did he leave before even interviewing for another job?  Even if he goes to the Texans it's a lateral move at best.   Maybe they have an understanding that he is "DC in waiting" when RC moves on.

I don't think Pepper left voluntarily.

Scar did, but Pepper doesn't leave the Pats unless he already has a job setup -- and I agree, he moves to a DC position, not laterally.

The decision for Pepper to leave certainly doesn't appear to have been made by himself. Belichick wasn't happy with the play of the LBs, for one reason or another.

Speculation, but it isn't that hard to conceive that as a real possibility.

I think you're right on the mark.  This was a nice way to let someone go, someone who was a good soldier in the organization!
