More on Vereen.  I actually had him as my #4 awhile ago.  He's more of a dual threat back as a receive then others I had around him.

[QUOTE]What's frustrasting is that they could of had Prince and took Ras instead. They could of had Ingram and took Vereen. If they took a CB or RB later in the draft no problem but they targeted these players when better players were available where they were picking. Confusing to me

I couldnt agree more with you my brother!! I hate how this draft is folding

Cobb at 60, Moffitt at 74 and I'm Red Aurbach, lighting them up.  That's me, in the distance, not close.

Shocked that we're at pick 60 w/o D-Line or Outside backer drafted yet

Well, Vereen is a better athlete than Ingram. I wasn't an Ingram fan, and watching him at Bama, I think a lot of RBs get over-rated coming from monster SEC programs because the lines are so good.

Vereen would have killed it at Bama ... that's for sure.

Still don't get the Dowling pick though.

I take Solder over Amukamara though ... and I think that is what NE was thinking too.

I agree that a pass rusher at 60 would be ideal.
I'm liking Vereen more and more as I find out more about him.

Way more. From a strict 'skills' perspective... he is better than a lot. He makes sense. I was thinking they would go after a Dillon clone ...  a big banger.

But I have also been saying this offense would be transcendent if they got a true every down Marshall Faulk type player.

Vereen might not be that good ... but he has the potential to be close.

Think like combining Woody and BJGE.

Watch us trade that 3rd for a 2nd next year. Hahaha. We are so predictable. And so idiotic.

I'd take Solder over Prince too if we didn't take a Ras at #33 or we got a pass rusher. But it's clear that they wanted another CB so why not take the one who could end up being the #2 CB and take Carimi at #28 then you could still have Vereen late in the2nd. I'd rather have Prince and Carimi then Ras and Solder

See, I don't think Carimi is as good as Solder. The only guy taken after him I liked in the first or at #33 was Costanzo .... and he would have been gone.
