Stevan Ridley? better then Mallet IMO.
    225? 4.66 I like it.

Not a pass rusher but a good power back.
What is BB's gripe with BJGE? lol.

WOW!  What an F-ing reach.  I had him 19th.  Big back which is what we need now but I like Mario Fannin much more, way better receiver.

Ridley is a good selection. He's a player. I thought they would take a bigger back when they nabbed Vereen. But NE still hasn't drafted an OLB ... and has taken two RBs. If they wanted Ridley, why take Vereen first and not a linebacker? The draft strategy is a little confusing at first blush, but I like the players.

I love it as well, power back, not a dancer like Maroney.

    Vereen and Ridley and Woody.

ScrewW Mallet, we need a pass rush.

Re: 2011 Patriots Draft Options ***IT'S GO TIME!***

Well I had the wrong trading of first round picks and I had the wrong OLineman but like I said it's hard to get into the mind of BB.Solder met with Dante who worked him out and evidently impressed him enough for them to take him,as for the trading of #28 no surprise as he gained his extra First rounder for next year and N.O.'s and an additional 2nd this year. Dowling is a very good choice and he ran a 4.4 forty with a pulled hammy at the combine,Vereen was a bit of a twist as I thought Cobb was a better fit seeing as how they already have Faulk and Woodhead as 3rd down backs, again trading 60 no shock as the value of players from 60-80 are very similar. So lets see who he actually drafts with his 3  picks in the 3rd round as they are just one pick away from their first of 3 I'll wait before I write about their next pick.Ridley RB from LSU a sleeper too say the least,Mallet the heir apparent has arrived? The most pro ready QB in this draft...

Well. This draft makes zero sense to me outside of Vereen and Solder.

The two hugest team needs are completely unaddressed.

WHY are we drafting two running backs on the #1 offense in the league?  It seems as though we have other needs!

The problem I have with the Pats 2011 draft is

EVERYONE OF THESE PLAYERS - EXCEPT SOLDER - WAS TAKEN 1-2 ROUNDS BEFORE THEY HAD TO ...

I JUST DON'T GET WHERE BILL IS COMING FROM THIS YEAR. LAST YEAR WAS AWESOME, THIS YEAR IS A JOKE. SANCHEZ CAN SIT BACK AND RELAX IN THE POCKET FOR 10 SECONDS EVERY PLAY ... AGAIN.

I agree about that. I watched him for years ... he is a player with the right team.
