The guy was a 6th round pick at best.  Don't have anything on him.  Ran a 4.51.  5 PD and one INT last year.  Had a bunch of tackles though.  Trying to find something more.

You don't take a special teams guy at the top of the 2nd round.

Wilson has an excellent athletic ability and can fly around the field. He also has an ideal build for a safety at 6’0”, 205 pounds and can attack a player and create fumbles with his hits. He’s a  smart leader  as well and is known as a hard-working player . His best part of his game is his special teams ' abilities. He is an instant gunner  for whoever drafts him and can still contribute as a depth safety. Also, he has an excellent blitz ability and could be a good role player for Atlanta. That's why BB took him

Not enough for me.  We have that in Slater.  Worst pick on paper I've seen in a long time.  What a wasted pick.  So disappointed.

Guys,...go read what Wes Bunting had to say about him. I will give you the cliff notes.... Not good in the open field or tight spaces, lacks instinct, doesn't locate the ball well, not really good in pass coverage or against the run...Just what we need...another secondary player with bust written all over him. .

Mankins was suppose to go in the late 2nd to mid 3rd and Vollmer was considered a 4th rounder with 3 round up side. Wilson was considered at most a low 4th round pick and more then likely a 5th or 6th. Slightly different. Seems like a project S they hope will develop. Not expecting anything this year from him except to see hi as a gunner. Hope he can develop given the DB coach isn't great at developing DB's

Looking for a silver lining here.

Falcons were looking at Wilson as a possible 7th round pick.....So a potential free agent pick up is picked in the middle of the 2nd round?  He wasn't even invited to the combine!

I'm baffled.  Biggest surprise pick I can remember from BB and there have been a few.  Gotta try to have faith.  Just shocking.  Konz, Randle, Reyes.  Dammit.  James!!  I would have preferred a straight trade out or even a pass. God!!!

I hear ya man, but this is a very big reach with a valuable pick that could have been spent on Reyes or another top flight player. We could have easily had him at the end of round 2. That is my only beef here. Not a value pick, but more of a reach.

No silver lining here.  This kid wasn't even in the top 200 on most boards.  There was no buzz about him that I know about.  Mayock said he was a riser, sure from what, 7th round to 4th?  And we get him in the middle of the 2nd.  What scout recommended him, the same guy that called Price, Wheatley, Brace, Cunningham and Butler?  Someone get me a noose and a rope.

that's like picking a likely backup at best when there are potential starters still available.
