There's or KR. Ebert runs between 4.35-4.5 so he's got some good speed. DOn't know much else about the kid though

I hear ya and I agree in terms of 48 being wasted.  They could of had Konz, James or Randle.  What I'm trying to say is, BB was given a Mulligan and hit the crap out of it 310 yards down the middle of the fairway with Dennard.  I see Dennard a as FS conversion who hits and tackles and would have been worth pick 48 if he didn't have the off-the-field stuff.

Jeremy Ebert can play too.  He was very productive at Northwestern.  The kid had 71/1025/11 last year and 62/953/8 in 2010.  He's fast for a white kid, 4.41, I think.  Could be the next Welker.

I like Ebert, good route runner and speed.  Ex HS QB, has a lot of production at NW.   High character, hard worker, can play outside or inside.  Hate to compare but kind is a Branch type player.

Because of his route running he might stick on the PS give him a year to develop.  Too much depth at WR for him to get a spot unless he comes in and lights it up but that's a big task for a rookie WR.

there were so many huge outside wrs in this draft who are capable.
with all these picks, i wouldve got one
    and a dt

    and

was bb actually thinking future welker in your estimation with this pick?

Not sure if he's the next Welker. Not nearly as good CoD and quick short burst. Ebert looks more like an outside the numbers WR to me that can work inside in a pinch. Not bad video. Can't wait to see what this kid can do with the return game

no not necessarily, you don't got to have a tall WR and pleanty of average height guys who run sub 4.4 can play outside.

They are way more concerned with quicks/speed, hands, and the brain than they are height.

He's adjusting to balls or working hrough traffic. Even Wallace gets caught from behind  : p

Look at the separation before the ball is thrown. They are giving him 7-10 yards and within 20yrds he has 3 steps on them. That's speed

standing by and defending my team does not mean not using my brain and being able to discuss critical thought, just to clarify

my point was not just for an outside wr.
but if you have a good one
and hes big, (look at gronk)
hes much more difficult to cover

    hi eng,
i see eh separtation (thogh dont knwo the defender)
better defenders dont leave him that mcuh space
thats why i said moderate speed.

after the catch, guys were running him down.

to me, having wheels means in most cases that wont happen (unless teh corner is an eltie speedster or someone has a really good angle on him.

he was just getting caught from behind.

    not slot.
    moderate speed.

we'll se if he can be st guy or makes our wr squad. would lvoe if hes good enough to do so.
