2013 Opponents set... it will be interesting!

The Pats will have CLE, PIT, DEN, NO and Tampa in town while hitting the road for BAL, CIN, HOU, ATL and Carolina plus the usual AFC East fodder.  Overall, for you "strength of schedule" purists, these teams had an overall 2012 record of 111 - 97.  Let's see 42and46 argue this!!

Well, lets see.....He'll say CLE is a bad team, PITT is old, NO is in turmoil, BAL isnt what they once were, HOU is a pretender that chokes, CIN is still young, CAR is in rebuild mode, Tampa is hit or miss with no real identity and the AFC East teams are college teams. And when we beat DEN it will only be because the schedule makers favored the Pats by giving them that game at home for the second straight year.

Well they fall out of bed with at least 5-1, if not 6-0 against the AFC East.  Buffalo has a new coach and exposed QB.  NYJ are a mess.  I'm giving the possibility of a split with Miami.  Even if they only go 5-1 within the division if they go 6-4 against the rest that's a minimum of 11-5.

nyjoe you and Jints like to whine about our "easy" AFC East schedule, but like I told Jints look at the records! This year the NFC East and AFC East had identical 31-33 records. Not our fault your Jints cant take care of stuff within there own division!

No whining here.  You got the wrong impression.  It's very difficult for AFC East teams to compete against NE.  They need a solid organization from top to bottom, continuity, and a star QB.  None of the other 3 teams have managed to pull that off over the last decade.

It takes guts for a coach to come into this division and try to compete against the Pats.

I'm just saying with the Pats excellence you can pretty much bank on 5-1 or 6-0 within the division next year.

It's hard to predict strength of schedule for next year. Remember everyone thought this years schedule was going to be easy but it was far from it.

Sea - Who would have guessed

Ari - At the time they were unbeatable

Bal - was tough early in the season

Colts - proved they flopped last year on purpose

it was a pretty tough schedule overall facing 6 of the 11 other playoffs teams this year (11 because they can't play themselves)

Lets a quick check Pit might be on the downside, Clev is Clev, NO looks like they are on the downside, Bal's O won't greatly improve and their D looks like it's falling apart, Atl has always been a paper tiger against top end teams. It looks tough but it could easily be weaker then this past year.
