seeing tank carradine now in rd 1 to pats? could it happen?
I have him Rd 2 due to the late season ACL tear, but I think he has a Rd 1 skill set.
agreed mb, why i was surprised him mocked in rd 1.
but i do have pass rush as our #1 need.
what guarantee is there hed make it to the back of rd 2?
There is no guarantee.
not speaking literal here of course (no guarantees in the draft). how high is the likelihood.
I think there's a decent shot.
so hed be yoru rd 2 pick?
id be ok if we got that, but woudl you go cb or wr in rd 1 (rd 3 cb vs rd 3 wr)
All depends who's still available, but he's at the top of my list of Rd 2 options, so there's a good chance that I'd pull the trigger, yes.
how bout this. we sign talib and maybe a mide-level cb as well.
(optimally for me, restructure one of the big 3 and get a pass rusher in fa too)
in rd 1 we take hopkins or the best big wr available
carradine in rd 2
o line, speedy cover lb safety in rd 3 (ie rambo), or additional dt
I'd be pretty psyched with a haul of:
Rd 1- Hopkins
Rd 2- Carradine
Rd 3- Swearinger
i like the sound of that. if we can get pass rushers, 2 cbs including talib, and potgentially our safety of the future in fa and the draft thatd be very good. of course i would have concern not upgrading our o line, so we might have to trade a 2014 3rd for a 4th to get some more o line talent.
just finished my run. off to a meeting. check back in couple hrs
