This may not be popular, but I'm not a fan of Iowa TE CJ Fiedorowicz. He just doesn't look very fast, quick, or athletic to me. Truthfully, I don't even know if he would be an upgrade over Hooman. Seems like a pretty good blocker, but an underwelming athlete. ASJ is the guy I like.
Though he looks like a laboring giant he is actually deceptively fast game speed. His straight away won't blow you away in the least but he does have some quick movements. The main thing is he knws how to use his body to block out defenders and has really strong hands. So even if a defender gets there arms around him he can still make the catch. He's move of a move the sticks guy then one that will break open 30yrds but he is certainly an upgrade over Hooman in every sense. Better blocker, better hands, better route runner. He'd be an average starting TE a great #2 type but if you get him in the back of 2nd - 3rd that what you normally expect from there. Honestly there are 4 TE's I'd put ahead of him but all 4 could be gone by pick #62 and the drop off in talent behind him is fairly large so if we sit at #62 and the other TE's are off the board I'd love to grab him.
To me ASJ might be #3/4 on the list tied with Nikals. ASJ is further developed but I think what you see is what you get where as Nikals I see higher upside overall, but who knows if he'll ever reach it. I really like Amaro, he seems like a better version of Hern (meaning bigger and a better blocker) without the red flags. I'd be happy with Amaro in the first. The guy I would need to change my pants for though is Ebron however I doubt he'll make it to the back of the 1st.
