He's an option, doesn't provide much as a receiver, but he can hammer it between the tackles.

Teams seem to take the WR's I like right after NE picks...

Jarvis Landry in Rd 2... Ellington in Rd 4.

Did something happen to Mort?  He seems a little off and I'm not aware of any medical issues.

Starting to sink in that the Pats were a year early on drafting wrs ...

Not able to take advantage of one of this drafts recognized major strengths .

Conversely  - TE / Safety is weak .

Is Brock Vareen worth a flyer at the end of this round ?

Anybody got other safeties in mind ?

BB doesn't draft into the strengths of any draft. For some reason he just never has and usually avoids strength positions

I've had similar thoughts, draft (2) in a weak WR class and so far none in this one, though there is still some talent available there.

Yes, I think Vereen is worth a Rd 4... I also like LSU's Craig Loston & VT's Antone Exum in Rd 4.  Telvin could also be that Kam Chancellor type.

Like that pick, finally an OC that can hold up against big DTs.  Not sure he'll start day 1 but adds depth at OC and OG while he learns the system.  Not sexy at all but a good pick IMO
