    2014 Schedule

Home Games: Denver, Oakland, Chicago, Detroit and an AFC North team

    - I say 60% chance Cinci, 25% chance Baltimore, 10% chance Steelers

Road Games: San Diego, Kansas City, Minnesota, Green Bay and an AFC South team

    - 95% chance we are on our way to Indianapolis next season

And of course the 6 game AFC East slate

What do you all hope for?

You realize the home and away games are already all set...it's just the order that is yet to be determined.

It has to be Cincy and Indy. They both finished in first. I don't know about road or home though.

And it's Cincy and Indy...We won the division, so we play the other division winners.

    Re: 2014 Schedule

    I would like to see:

    - Denver at home Thursday night to open the season (Sunday night billing = GB @ Seattle, Monday Night = San Fran @ Carolina).

    - Sunday night vs. the NFC North team or NYJ week 2 (extra rest)

    - Monday night vs. Chicago in October to be followed by a BYE

    - The Lions on Thanksgiving Day

    - Sunday night @ NFC North or NYJ to follow Thanksgiving (extra rest)

    - The game in Green Bay to be in December and be snowing:-)

    - At San Diego and at Miami to be in Nov/Dec (warmer)

    - At KC or at San Diego to be our second Monday Night game (can we have three?)

    - The Bills at home to end the season

I did not know that it had to be the division winners who played each other.

So San Fran doesn't get Carolina, the Seahawks do? They get the Saints then?

Yes. Second place teams get the other second place teams unless of course it's your divisions turn to play that division.

    Re: 2014 Schedule

    Broncos have a brutal schedule.

Home - SF, Arizona, Indy, KC, SD

Away - NE, Seattle, NYJ, Rams, Cinci, KC, SD

Looks for them to go 3-2 in those home games, 3-4 on the road, .500/6-6 in those 12 games overall. 10-6 on the season after their two Oakland and Miami/Buffalo at homes bunnies.

Denver will probably still win their division though, as the Chiefs have the brutal AFC West as well and have to travel to SF, Balt or Pitt, Miami, Buffalo and Arizona and play Pats, Seahawks, Rams, Jets and Titans at home out of conference. No way they go better than 3-2 on road, 3-2 at home and 4-2 division. That is best case. They probably go 9-7 and Broncos get a gift win and go 11-5.

All opponents and location of the games are predetermined except for the opponent of two (location of those two are predetermined). This is based on where you rank within your division...you will play the team that had the same standing in their division that you had in yours.

This is why anyone who says scheduling is rigged doesn't know anything. The entire schedule works on a cycle! Even the two unknown opponents at least have it determined whether it's road vs home.

SEA gets the opening Thurs game.

Detroit plays at Foxborough so that can't be the thanksgiving game. CBS has the Detroit game this season, so it will be a different AFC East foe.

You can't have 3 MNF games, and the Pats rarely get two.

Looking at this, I'm going with 14-2 and #1 seed in AFC, and Super Bowl 49 Champs. Only games on the schedule that conern me are vs. Denver and at Indy. The rest are all games the PATS should and will win. BB will have them ready and pick up key FA's and draft picks to reaload for a SB run.
