If Mark Sanchize had a day like that they would have fired him, Rex Ryan and Mike Genius Tannenbaum all on the spot.  Not that they all aren't sweating it right now.

Colin Kaepernick got this week's award.

Would this be a backhanded sign of respect for the Patriots' defense?

Sanchez has had days like that. It only took four years to fire him.

Hooray...! He beat NE...! That's all that matters to the haters...  You know... There was a lot of good stuff , but if you look at the totality it's  mostly potential and not a finished product.

Did anyone do any better...? Not Eli...lol... What about Wilson... Didn't he put up 50?

56% completion rate, but people bag on our defense like it is the worst ever.

He did throw 4 TD passes of 24, 34, 27 and 38 yards and have an overall QB rating of 107.7 which in general would be considered a pretty good day.

Now sure what the problem is. Are you just upset that a guy got player of the week against the Patriots? Who cares...

If you watched the game you heard even the announcers gushing over him, Mancrush.. God they even showed his letter when he was a little boy saying he was going to be a football player.. First where the hell did they get it and second all  the talk was how great he was in Baseball and all about his arm, it's was a love fest right in NE in their home....I hope Brady and Co shut them all up!!

Ah, but he WON, in Foxboro, against Brady, in DECEMBER..... all things those pesky "experts" said doesn't happen. Someone tossed those 4 TD's for 20+ yards each against that "young, learning, and 'arrived' Pats defense".

Bottom line is this: WHO REALLY CARES?  These awards mean nothing anyway.
