Like in 2007, if the O-line doesn't show, you gonna lose. And Brady did a GREAT job under much worse duress in that one.

That is still 8 more than the Patriots offense would have scored.

Nobody would beat the Seahawks tonight, nobody!

It is scary to think how overmatched and dominated the Patriots offense would be if they got to play tonight.

    Broncos have 4-5 legit receivers.

    Patriots have Julian Edelman.

It would still be a bloodbath.

The Giants defense in 2007 and 2011 isnt on the same planet compared to the Seahawks defense.

Outside of the THREE wins NE has had... that TB has QBed, the two loses TB had to perform under more pressure and did immensley better than Manning. Manning could only scratch out 8 points!!!!! ANd got blown out. TB took the lead and only lost it late... when the D could not hold on and when Welker could not hold on and when Tyree's helmet was about the only thing that could catch a pass.

brady does better than manning when pressured. manning didnt even get sacked because he gets rid of the ball faster and denvers line is better. brady is used to having his line get beat up and can handle it better.

    FARSE Hole.

Denver was in the SB because they were built MUCH BETTER THAN THE PATS.  GET IT!

Then DEFENSE, DEFENSE, DEFENSE, beat their butts.

You know what defense is right?  I know the Pats haven't had one since 2004 but your supposed to have a photo memory.  If tonight didn't jog your memory then I don't know what will.  That's how it's supposed to look.

Not like that disgusting, embarrassing, pathetic, mess that BB has put out there for years.

I credit Seattle's D.  Did Peyton play well?  Tough to do when you have someone in your face all game.

How would Brady and NE have done?  We will never know and to speculate is a meaningless exercise.  It has been repeatedly demonstrated that how teams do against common opponents is no indicator how they will do against each other.

John Fox probably needs to take some heat for this - as well as the entire Denver team.

But Manning lost by 35; after breaking all records he scored 8 points.  That is ugly.  Seattle lost to Arizona this year - they were not invincible.

Denver laid an egg - and Manning's pick 6 sealed it.   He should have never thrown that pass.   15 - 3 at half is much better than 22 - 0

Might have been ugly but likely not as bad. The Pats never get blown out like that.

Notice the Broncos played the short game becaue over the top was shut down. The pats are better at dink and dunk. Vereen out of the backfiled, quick shot routes with Edelman.

Also the Pats running game would have kept them in it.

If the Pats Defense got the Seattle offesne off the field better than Denver did  it would have been much closer.

Matchups matter in the NFL. Too bad the Pats stunk it up vs the Broncos..they would have been a much better representative from the AFC.

In both of Tom's SB lose's he gave the defense the lead late in the game and he still had a chance to win it at the end of the game, unlike last night when the game was over by halftime.
