What a freaking block Hannah threw on that TD run against the Raiders.  Just amazing.

Aside from TB the greatest Patriot of all time. Argueably the greatest G and or O-lineman of all time.

In 3 playoff games that '85 D had 16 turnovers!

In the last 3 playoff games our current D has had one turnover!

Pining for a more traditional offense means the Pats would be the only ones using it and with those small non-featured backs they probably would be turning the ball over as much as they were with the new pass oriented offense. TB 'prefers the shotgun'? The HC determines what type offense they'll run. BB doesn't answer to TB, unless those coat tails still figure in the formula for the best chance to win.

I like watching old football games just to see what BS flags would be thrown if it was played today. Good find though!

No. Many of the '85 turnovers came on D or STs, not just D.

    Okay dumbkoff.

That offense they had that year was as loaded as I've seen, they had special players in that group...Jefferson, Glenn, Brisby, Coates, Martin, Megget, Byers, Armstrong. They really had it all. That team could run - Martin was such a dynamic weapon, he could run inside, out, pass block, catch very very well...he was special...so hard to defend. Even Megget had a little juice left in his legs, could catch, and could block with the best of them. Byers came in and gave us an outstanding outlet option (which Bledsoe had to have because he was a guy that could only look at one option before dumping it down). Both our flankers had 4.3 speed and were explosive outside threats. We had Troy Brown and Brisby too. Bledsoe had time to throw. Coates was special...just an amazing group.

I would say our 07 team had the better quarterback and receivers, but I liked the overrall talent on that 96 offense. Better runners, better tight ends, fullbacks and some very fast wide receivers.

"You must not know how to play chess. Tony Eason was a better QB in the 1985 postseason than Brady has been in ANY postseason since 2007."

Troll much Farmer Ted?  Eason was so good that he got Pulled during the Super Bowl.  Has that even happened before or since?  The only QB in history not to complete a pass in a Super Bowl 0-6.  You just reached a new low, if that was possible.

Refer to babe's above post where he talks about the 16 turnovers created by the D and ST. You do realize your Brady bashing BS ain't going to work on this board?

And in the last 3 playoff losses it is ZERO turnovers.
