Only if the Pats can get him cheap. He's played well against our secondary. But, then again, doesn't everybody these days?

You may recall that several years ago, the Dave Wannstadt Dolphins traded what turned out to be a high 2nd round pick for him. They can file that move right up there with the selection of QB John Beck with their 40th overall pick, in the 2007 draft...and their trade of Wes Welker to the Pats for a low second rounder.

Feeley was one of the vets that came to my mind when they let O'Conell go. The other was Thigpen, though I doubt the Chiefs will be dealing him with Cassel questionable. He always did well in relief of McNabb (and torched NE's secondary a few times). Solid backup guy, IMO. They might have to give up a bit more than they'd like, though. There will probably be a few teams looking for backups, and Feeley is one of the better ones around.

I think it would be a good move.  Heck, Heather Mitts is his fiance and she plays in Boston (Boston Breakers) too...

The next question would be, do you release Walter or try and sneak Hoyer to the practice squad.

Thanks for the replys. Per PFT todays edition Philly and the Patriots are eyeing each other as the Pats are in need of a quality BuQB and they in need of a TE. Watson and/or Smith. A good deal for each team.

guess everyone here would vote fro some time in her mitts. i would consider tradg watson straight up for touvhy feeley. eags could use a TE who could make the occassional catch with some speed. hopefully, we dont needlessly cut him loose for nothing as with o'connell.
