Absolutely Time to Route for Ravens

Denver at Baltimore this Sunday .

    1) Much Better to stay ahead of Broncos / Manning than Ravens / Flacco .

    2) Ravens ( 9-4 ) have tough match-ups vs NYG and at Cinc.

    3) Broncos ( 10-4 ) have a couple cup cake home games - Browns and Chiefs

A loss to Texans on MNF would make it even more important to have Ravens beat Broncos ... at least for week 15 , Ratbirds are our unlikely Allie .

Agreed, and its at Baltimore, so theres a good chance of it. If the Pats win against Texas, theyll be in excellent shape if Denver also loses next week.

Unfortunately the Ravens are a fraudelant 9 -4

    ( while Broncos are a well earned 10-3 )

IMO  - Denver will win by double digits .

Maybe, but you never know. Denver is due for a klunker.

Really don't like the Ravens chances without Ellerbe and Suggs. Denver also gets the extra days to prepare since they played thursday night.

    Crazier things have happened though.

Don't know if I can get myself to root for Flacco. Lets hope for a tie

I'm good with rooting for the Ravens againt the Broncos. After that I plan to root against them until they are but a distant bad fume. :)

Is it just me, or are the Ravens incredibly overrated?  I would love to be proven wrong, but I don't see the Ravens beating Gomer and the ponies.  The wheels are falling off for the buzzards and the defense has been decimated by injuries.

As long as the Pats take care of business from here on out, we won't have to worry about other teams. Just win baby!

Don't really agree with this, against the percieved play off teams for this year the Broncos are a combined 1-3 with the only win coming against the Steelers in week one and I just don't think Pittsburgh are very good this year. You could count the Saints and the Bucs and put their record to 3-3 but I don't see either team getting in at this stage. It's Peyton-itis whatever he touches seems to turn to gold instantly in the eyes of the public, like playing against a scrub schedule and still being in the MVP conversation.

Reports are Ray Lewis should be back this week as well...

He's not what he once was, but that is a big help for the Ravens...

Gotta love the grammer police ...

whatever makes you feel ok about yourself I guess .

    For the record :
I knew when I spelled the header " route " - there'd be at least 1 who'd feel the need to correct ...Probably got too cute when I chose the spelling I thought best fit the topic .

    ROUTE

( as in route to the SB )

    .

    .

    .

    IMO ...

    DENVER  31

    RAVENS  16

PS - wow MiSox ...16 posts in 4 years and you choose to use one of your precious few to correct my punctuation ? (  AllieS )

Not only do I feel honored to be one of your quarterly responses - but I'm officially nominating you to be cheif of the grammar police .

    WTG !

    ( i b4 e ... gotcha )

If the Patriots beat the Niners and Houston loses a game then we would want the broncos to win that game. However it works out that the broncos have to go to Houston in the divisional round is best IMO

I got a feeling Den will end up #2. Especially if Indy beats Houston twice and beat the lowly Chiefs.

    It could lineup like this:

    1.NE

    2.Den

    3.Ind

    4.Balt
