Could work out for both sides with a little restructuring. Haynesworth doesn't want to play nose in a 3/4 and we need an end. -

The most dominant defensive lineman in the NFL by a wide margin (regardless of what formation he WANTS to play) for an incredibly average, overpaid linebacker who couldn't conform to the ways of a team that even the most troubled players have conformed to in the past? Come on.If the Redskins want Thomas they can have him for peanuts as a free agent as soon as he is released by the Patriots later on after the draft. He has no trade value for anything really, let alone one of the best players in the NFL. Yes Haynesworth's contract is ridiculous and he doesn't like the 3-4 but other teams would kill for him if he would restructure, and they could get 100x more value in return than Thomas. -

AD has some trade value, but it's minimal. In any event I doubt the Pats release Thomas, at least not for quite a while.
Haynesworth isn't worth nearly what he's getting. The Pats won't go near that. -

While we're at it, we should trade Chris Hanson for Jared Allen. -

Chris Hanson is currently a free agent so they would have to sign him first then trade him to minnesota for Jared Allen. But Jared Allen has never played in a 3-4 so not sure how it would work out. I would rather trade Hanson for Adrian Peterson -

If you think Maroney fumbles - wait until you see AP -

LET the Jets take AT. Then the Pats can benefit by running around him instead of letting the opponent run around us...
I think we should offer this year's fourth and seventh for Haynesworth straight up. Make his contract incentive-laden so he has something to play for and give him a shot... No fuss. Him and Wilfork would be pretty stout against the run if someone is actually able light a fire under his butt...
