Peterson deserves the MVP and comeback player of the year award...I seriously can't believe he had the year He did. Amazing.
I think the Vikings winning today and making it to the playoffs with the win today and AP having 200 yards rushing, there is no doubt he wins MVP of the year. He carried this team all season! Maybe had they not won today to make the playoffs then it could go to Manning or Rodgers or Brady but not after todays win, imo.
Comeback of the year... Manning and AP share this award. If one was greater then the other I gotta go with AP. He came 9 yrds away from breaking the NFL rushing record in less then a year after suffering a torn ACL. Amazing!!

If Peterson doesn't win MVP then they might as well rename the award to MVQB. The dude has simply put the team on his back and has taken an anemic offense and has made it into a force to be reckoned with.
Yep. And it was without Percy Harvin even an option for Ponder most of the year, which meant teams stacked the box more later in the year. Wow.
He'll have a short career because of how he runs, but that was really an incredible year.
Earl Campbell anyone?
my fav alltime back to watch run (e.c.)

Even with Brady in the mix, the MVP has to go to him.

Much as I'm a Pats fan it's a toss up between AP and Manning.

The MVP should be for Peterson and it shouldn't be close. He took a team with a handful of wins last season into the playoffs and his effort today was incredible. Too bad about those nine yards, if he'd gotten Dickerson's record the MVP would have been a lock. Now some voters may get confused by the Manning love.
To be fair to Peyton he's a clear number two in this vote. Denver did win a playoff game last year and their schedule was not intimidating but Peyton sure was.
Brady is a clear third, won the games when it counted but he put himself out of 1 and 2 MVP slots with a couple late season sub-par games.
Rodgers is fourth, you can't lose the last game of the season against another MVP candidate when it ends up costing your team a bye.

So Peterson missed the record by 9 yards, the dude carried this team into the playoffs and his final run today pushed them to victory. Broncos made the playoffs last season, no way Manning gets MVP over Peterson who was 9 yards short from the record and carried his team to the playoffs after a 3-13 season last year and all of this coming off an torn ACL. Unfreakingbelievable!!
can't take any pats fan seriously when discussing peyton-u would give the mvp to a cheerleader over peyton
