    AFC Championship Game

Are there any early indications on when (1PM? 4PM?) the AFC Championship game will be if we are hosting? I have to fly that day and want to make sure that I am not on the plane or in the airport when the game is on.

The AFC title game is already set, it will be at 6:25 on Sunday January 23rd, regardless of who is playing and where its being held

Being at the airport for a big game is fun too.  I was waiting for a flight during the Bears/Colts game and I saw the opening kickoff before I had to board.  Made the flight fun as people talked back and forth about what they thought was happening in the game.

I love Football games in the airport. I was flying on Thanksgiving Day once and had 2 connections going from Coast to coast. Everytime I got off the plane I would run to the nearest lounge and catch a quick quarter.

Says the Chargers fan looking towards another season with the immature Philip Rivers and the horrendous Norv Turner.

    Enjoy!

I'm sure the poster said "IF".

One thing is for sure, Rivers will watching at home.

    It's smart to check though.

I bought my tix to Vegas for Jan 16 thinking the divisional game would be Saturday night and now I can't go.  My loss is my kids gain.  At least I'll be out there long before kick off and can find a raunchy bar to watch it in.

I will definitely be at the AFC championship game on Jan 23

    Thanks guys...

Best part is that I'm flying to Pittsburgh... should make it more interesting if we are playing the Steelers.

And I did say "If we are hosting".

Interesting you linger on a BOSTON.com board , being a SD fan...But yet I understand...Your curiosity about what its like to see people who year in and year out have that privilege of having such high expectations for their team..Well at least there's plenty of nice beaches and nice weather in San Diego...there's one bright side to having another extended off season, and reloading that false-hope you guys have become accustomed to.....CHEERS!!

What do you call 53 guys sitting around a TV watching the playoffs?

    The San Diego Chargers.

    Re: AFC Championship Game

The Championship games are always at 3 and 6:30. The AFC and NFC rotate the time slots on a yearly basis. For example, this year the AFCCG is at 6:30 while the NFCCG is at 3. Next year the AFCCG will be at 3 and the NFCCG at 6:30
