sign the man.
this de is DIFFERENT now.
add a pass rusher and we're lethal (though a top tier safety would be a nice addition).
and wouldnt mind xavier rhodes in the draft (6 2" 215)

I think being able to move McCourty to safety has been huge, and it is because of Talib that we are able to do that. Having a player back there that is quick and can read an offense has really helped change this defense. Dennard has been great as well. Hopefully it all pays off this year.

Would you place the franchise tag on him if a deal is not workde out?

07,
hell yes. offense needs wes. the defense needs talib even more. id have talib more valuable than wes to the whole team (with the eapons we have next year including ballard, edelman, demps). how long has it been since weve had a legit de. and it only happened after talib got here for a reason. bb could chance the whole defense. if i could only franchise 1 (and could sign neither) it woudl be talib.
but i think we can sign talib, and i think there is a good chance we can sign wes

I agree. Talib has made a huge difference.
But Welker is almost as important to the offense. He's still Brady's goto guy.
Would you rate Talib over Vollmer?

Talib has made the entire defense better. Kudos to BB, the Greatest ever.

teh only reason i would tag welekr if we have to.
vollmer is 3rd on that list. if hes deemed healthy re his back for his career, hes very valuable. bit more replaceable than the other 2 in offseason.
great questions 07!
