Alex Karras given a few days left to live

Alex was a great football player way back in the day.He was also great as Mongo in the movie Blazing Saddles. He'll be missed,my sympathies to Alex and his friends and family.

Great player. If you have the time read Even Big Guys Cry by Karras great memoir on football. The real  sad story is I think we're going to see more stories about players with dementia due in large part to repeated head trauma.

I agree with both of you.Head trauma for ex NFL players is becoming a real issue and it's not going away. We'll be seeing a lot more dementia happening in the future.
