A "Patriot fan" who hates Tom Brady? Doesnt anyone find that a little odd? Ragging on the worthless and overrated Flutie is one thing but there is no such thing as a Pats fan who doesnt like Brady. Who are you really a fan of Commie? Why the shame? If you admitted to what team you really root for we could compare and contrast their QB to Brady. I dont think you want to do that. Go home troll.

Re: ALL ABOUT THE HYPE: BRADY IS #2 ON THE FORBES MOST INFLUENTIAL LIST, IS THIS Y WE CAN'T WIN RINGS?

    Brady is all about Brady,

He shows no appreciation for the team that picked him in the sixth round and groomed him for success.  No appreciation for the team that surrounded him with talent and built a system in which his dink and dunk style could succede.  No appreciation for us fans who paid for it all.  since he signed his mega contract circa 2005 we have won nothing and have fielded sub par Ds because his contract precluded having depth on D.  He is worth 300 million dollars.  How much is enough?  I'd like to see him go play for the Raiders and see how great he is.  He wouldn't win squat or make squat on endorsements.

Drew Brees is working with his young guys.  What is Brady doing?  Dancing in Brazil, walking red carpets in New Dork City, and trapsing around Europe with a bunch of America haters.  Even Sandcheese is working with the young guys (probly because he is after their younger sisters).

Brady looked very bad in the loss to the Jets.  It was pathetic.  No leadership.  Running scared and falling down when rushers wiffed on him.  He is NOT WORTH 20 MILLION A YEAR.  We will not win another championship with this rich, california, celebrity, pretty boy taking up 14 % of payroll.

That may be the single most ignorant statement I have ever read. You are concerned about Brady BRANDING himself and compare him unfavorably to Manning? The Forehead does enough BRANDING to make Michael Jordan blush! And you go on Brady is selfish and not a TEAM guy, unlike Manning who is in the process of extorting every dime he can out of the Colts like usual so they cant afford free agents. Comparing stain-face Brees to Brady is bad enough but then you compare the Beiber concert going metro Dirty Sanchez? Are you completely insane? Oh and BTW by comparing that goofball worthless excuse for a 1st round pick Sanchez you just exposed yourself as a Jets fan. No wonder you hate America you live in Jersey!

Communist Im with you.  Its pretty hard to talk to any of these yahoos on here any more because you cant disagree with anything the pats do or your all of a sudden a Jets fan...

Tom Brady is going to go down as one of the greatest QB's of all time, I dont think anyone would argue that Tom Brady is a better Football player than Wes Welker.. but when I go buy myself a new jersey, its going to be a Wes Welker jersey, or a Teddy Bruschi jersey, not a Tom Brady jersey.  Know why?  Those guys stand for something.. on and off the field, and I would represent what they stand for by owning one of their jerseys.  Not so much for Tom.

    Posted by Ender587
BINGO COMRADE! i couldnt have said it better. within the pats family, people as individuals get to pick their faves and y. has nothing to do with whether i like tommy or not. i've said a thousand times he's the BEST qb EVER, the best right now in the league, ther's no other qb i would want starting on my team. yet these moronic yahoos accuse me of being a jets fan and not liking the pats. how more clear can one be about their respect for a guy than what i ust mentioned about brady. but yep, there are other factors than pure talentand what people do on the field. what goes on off it is part ofit. perception is part of it, personal connection is part of it. i cant relate to brady in any way outside of what he does specifically on the field. that wasnt always the case. his rise from a 6th rounder to winning all the off-field awards for commitment to TEAM was abig part of it. now, not so much. yes, give me welker, bruschi, gronkowski the TE, goskowsi the kicker... another thing, gee i think we have enough polish players.. lol.  even deion branch, bje, and big vince.

You obviously are not working out hard enough and dedicating yourself enough to the team and that's why you can't win a ring.   The Patriots on the other hand are in a great position to compete for another ring.
In Response to Re: ALL ABOUT THE HYPE: BRADY IS #2 ON THE FORBES MOST INFLUENTIAL LIST, IS THIS Y WE CAN'T WIN RINGS? : Don't buy all that. growing up around a track would make u a racer? Maybe. Just like so many sons of pros become pros in all sports. So why is that phenomenom a knock on racing? it's in ur nature/genes, surrounding. two, is horse racing a sport? the horse does most of the work but, trust me, most other pro athletes would not  last long going 35mph on those beasts, and jockeys may be, for their size, the toughest and strongest athletes there are, so why should the car engine be different? and i said focus and reflexes beyond any other sporting skill, including stopping 95 mph slapshots or hitting fastballs, which u did not address. also, ur point about male and female differences is bogus because that is based not on athletic skill but physical size and strength, which is not a learned skill nor a sporting skill. a woman can easily be a better athlete than a male in a variety of sports, she just does not have the physical size to go head to head, which, again, is not a true measure of athletic skill at all. btw, if u r gonna be as arrogant and condescending as u are (because of ur deluded ideas that u r more intelligent) u gotta bring it a little better than that
    Posted by JintsFan
I like how in order to determine that car racing is an actual "sport", you had to use "real" and other, actual sports in reference, and as examples...NOT "correlations" and not "parrallels"....just other entirely different sports.

Re: ALL ABOUT THE HYPE: BRADY IS #2 ON THE FORBES MOST INFLUENTIAL LIST, IS THIS Y WE CAN'T WIN RINGS?

    sport/spôrt/
Verb: Wear or display: "sporting a mustache".
Noun: An activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others.

Is auto racing a sport? I know a typical NASCAR team consists of approximately 75 people including engine builders, body fabricators, marketing, accounting, administrative, truck drivers, the pit crew and driver. So.....they do have a group of employees all competing for a common goal.
But, is the real exertion on the driver, the pit crew and the crew chief..........or is it on the car?

The driver does have to deal with constant G-Force, extreme heat, and physical exhaustion, the crew and crew chief basically sit on their collective butts and wait for the car to come in to which they work for roughly 13.6 seconds. Now I know they do other things in between but none look to be physically exhausting.

I conclude that this is not a sport. It's entertaining, it's highly competitive but based on the definition it can't be called a sport.

Might as well make backgammon and shuffleboardboard sports...  IF Nascar's a sport, then I guess it's only right to include drag racing and boat racing too.  Power walking, that easily makes the list now I suppose...

Wow, communist.  I normally do not want to flame anyone, well, several Jets players but that is another story.  You have a beef with Ty Warren skipping Bonus Workouts in order to work on his college degree???  In today's all about the Benjamins world, Warren is working on his degree and should be held up as an example to all the young kids out there who are banking on a small amount of talent to make it in this world.  Here is a guy who is saying, wait a minute, there are other things that are important too and you have a beef with that???

100s of thousands of kids can look at Warren and say, maybe I should finish that degree, or better yet, maybe I should stay in High School.  Warren is acting like the role model we so quickly assign to professional athletes. Would you prefer to have Michael Vick as a role model?  How about the dozens of drug arrested, spouse beating, weapon charged athletes?  You want to have a beef with players, point to these guys, not someone who is doing something the right way..

Baseball a sport...?  Well, they lift alot of weights for their 1 minute at bats.  Several times every 3 hours they have to run for a ball and then throw the ball pretty hard...this can be exerting.  Once, sometimes twice a game they need to sprint the bases.  I hate baseball.  Finally, frusty you kill me lol.  Steroids are probably pretty exerting to ball-players, right?

One thing you can say about Peyton Manning is that all he cares about is the Colts.  You never see him focusing on outside commercial interests.  It's just team, team, team with him, no distractions.
In Response to Re: ALL ABOUT THE HYPE: BRADY IS #2 ON THE FORBES MOST INFLUENTIAL LIST, IS THIS Y WE CAN'T WIN RINGS? : for the 500th time, i LOVEEE having tb12 as my qb! he had a great year. that is not under dispute., my beef is with tom the team leader. its common sense. if he is out in brazil shaking his MONEYMAKER, traveling all over with gissy and emphasizing his influence, branding and hair how much time does he truly have for focusing on the TEAM goals. think about it. working out at foxboro as he used to when he regularly won team awards is very different than working out in the basement of his home on his own. the former shows a team leader and sets the example.  right now for instance, i would be shocked if brady is is spending as much time with the young guys during the lockout as a drew brees or a peyton. brady is more about brady. winning all the independent indivudual awards like mvp but certainly not as invested in the team as he used to be. no coincidence that our TEAM has paid the price in terms of rings. slam me all you want, facts are facts.  if u heard belichick's sly comments as to y he drafted ryan mallet, dont be surprised if all ciomes to a head in a couple of years where brady is still playing great but beli decides to emphasize a qb who is all about the pats rather than his brand, family and individuality. thats a big pragmatic DIFFERENCE!
    Posted by COMMUNIST-CONTRARIAN
Did you know that players on NFL teams do not ordinarily live together all year?  As for your speculation that Brady is not spending as much time with other players as Manning or Brees, could we have some evidence?  The evidence is actually contrary to your unsubstantiated speculation.  I would say that a quarterback who threw 36 touchdown passes to four interceptions had established an unprecedented rapport with the players around him.  Where did that come from?  As for Brees and Manning, how did they do last year?
