    As insider reported, WR Anquan Boldin traded to 49ers for a sixth-round pick. WRs piling up in NFC West.

    6th rounder for Boldin?

    SF stocking up as well. Getting scary.

    But BB will tell us tomorrow that the Pats have managed to re-sign free agent Marquice Cole.

    He said that like a day or two after the SB. Never take stuff said so soon after the season ends seriously. He's not going to leave millions on the table.

    Harvin is much younger, and that deal is contingent on him signing a long term deal.  Boldin is older and has 1 expensive year left on his contract.  Also, I'm sure the Ravens wanted him out of the AFC.  This is basically cutting him, but dictating where he plays.

    Word out of Bal is that Boldin made the retirement claim so he would have little trade value.

    no worries folks. NE will re-sign Welker and the Pats will once again have a record breaking regular season, make it to the AFC Championship or maybe even the SB where they will score 17 points and Wes Welker will drop the most important pass of the game.

    Not a bad deal for SF, good move by them. Hope we get Nelson as a younger version of Boldin

    Boldin is at the end of his career with a big salary. This isn't Larry Fitzgerald we're talking about. He had a nice run in the playoffs. If I ran an NFL team and had $6 mil to spend on a receiver, I would hope to do better than this guy.

    Why are people acting like this is such a steal?  6 million bucks, one year left on his contract and the Ravens were going to have to cut him if they couldn't trade him.  They were lucky to get anything.

    yeah i guess, either way it seems like a good deal for the niners, and an absolute steal if he performs in the playoffs next year similar to what he did this year.

    Not debatable at all, crabtree is younger and only has room to grow. Boldin is getting old and will only decline. How is that debatable?
