Report: Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen to sell L.A. home

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s Brentwood home in Los Angeles

Just months after completing their massive expanse of a Los Angeles home, are Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen are planning to sell the 14,300 square-foot structure? TMZ says yes.

Neither Brady or Bundchen’s brokers were available for comment in the report, but what is available is that the reported price tag: a whopping $50 million.

What will that hefty chunk of change buy you?

For starters, the Brady bunch’s French country-styled limestone home sits on 4 Brentwood acres, has six bedrooms, a koi-filled moat, an infinity pool, a garden, and a billiards room.

Brady and Bundchen reportedly want to spend all of their time in Boston (high five, Bostonians). The duo bought a $14 million condo in New York last fall, and are currently building a Brookline home complete with yoga studio, according to an Us Weekly source.

I know Brady and Gisele aren't exactly hurting for money, but he is going to take a huge loss on that house.  The odds of them finding a buyer with both the desire and the funds to live there are pretty low.

Yeah, you're half right. There are few who can buy that home. However, there are enough of them to create a market for such a home.

There are some hedge funds that went all in when the real estate market bottomed. Some started cashing out a year ago, but some are still in the process of cashing out. I know someone who now has a 13,000 sq fit home in the bay area. Back in HS, you would not imagine he'd be that wealthy.

Plus, he's probably wanting to be here for his family...I live in Brookline and the entire area is extremely livable, has great schools, both public and private, and not very nosy neighbors because most folks here are professionals and wealthy themselves...there are numerous famous people walking around all day and night here...he'd have no problem being hassled here at all...they'd just be Tom and Giselle

I live in LA and while I do love it here if I could move back to Boston to raise my kids there I would do it in a heartbeat.  Kids are going to get in trouble.  Rich kids more so.  Famous rich kids surrounded by other famous rich kids means lots of big trouble and bad influences.  It happens everywhere but out here, its a religion.
