Rex my son do you ever leave your chair? You've been here all day whining and attacking the Pats.

The Jets are in serious trouble. I'd compare them somewhat to the red sox. They have a lot of losing before they get better. Jets will finish last this season as predicted by many of us here.

Even though the Jests are on track for the big 6 win season they better try harder to suck. The Rams and Panthers are out sucking them. At least the Rams or Panthers will pass on the QB from WV that the Jests need.

Re: Are the Jets that far into the hole next season?

The Jets have gotten themselves into a seat license crisis.  They were trying to front-load all their profits during the past two years.  To do so, they have to hire the players with the most cachet.  Often as not, those aren't the players that can play.  Plaxico can't play.  Cromartie is an exception, he's actually playing well.  LaDanian Tomlinson can't play.  Tim Tebow has tremendous cachet in the right circles, but on a bad day he can't block on the punting team.  Or did somebody else blow that assignment?

Front-loaded seat licenses regularly lead to terrible teams year after year after year for the duration of the seat license, just ask Oakland Raiders seat license holders.  Real teams have to sell tickets today, so they have to put a good team on the field today.  That means they hire a good coaching staff today, and a good scouting organization.  Pie-in-the-sky teams have already gotten paid by the clod seat license holders, so they have no motivation to actually hire coaches and scouts for a decade.  Let them eat fourth place!
