You don't have to worry about Hawkins being the replacement because they already have two slot receivers on the roster in Amendola and Boyce and maybe a third in Orton or Dunn.

We really haven't seen a whole lot from Boyce to say he'll play slot the 6-8 games that Amendola won't play due to injury.

So we will kick off FA signing a coveted long snapper, cutting a bunch of PS players,  losing our best WR and replacing him with a broken down WR and a hopeful 2nd year kid. Brilliant.

I predict the next couple of days to be frustrating as lots of the competitive teams make moves and we wait in the dumpster for the leftovers.

Just as long as Edelmans replacement is Hawkins. With Hawkins, the Pat will win the Superbowl next year!

yep just like they did replacing Welker with Amendola right? Last time I checked you don't get to the SB but getting weaker at positions, you do it by getting stronger

He doesn't fit their style of offense...I'm sure Ravens playing gamesmanship with BB...+ they can't afford him.

What else is new? It's like this every year with the Pats. They won't over-pay. Still, it hurts seeing good players leave here to play for our top rivals.

Maybe they are changing it up a bit as we did going to the 2 TE package. Plus, if jones leaves, it's a bonus for them to get the best pr in the league.

and Arrington. Maybe what TP meant was they won't pay market value for starters but for backups, no problem with overpaying
