    Tough call for the NYG's... their biggest needs appear to be at RB (Martin) and TE (Allen), but I don't see them passing on another edge rusher with a lot of upside.

         The G-men also badly need an OT.

    I just see edge rusher as more of a value to them than say, Kevin Zeitler or Amini Silatolu or Bobby Massie (the next 3 highest rated OL on my board) etc.

    I was considering Mercilus (I think he's a much better 43 fit), Perry, Doug Martin and Dwayne Allen for them.

         I have the OTs rated as follows:

    1.) Ryan Kalil;
    2.) Reilly Reiff;
    3.) Jonathan Martin;
    4.) Mike Adams;
    5.) Bobbie Massie

         mbeau: I have to believe that the G-men must do something to better protect QB Eli Manning. Even though they beat the 49ers, Eli nearly was killed in that game. Of the above OTs , I can see Martin, Adams, and/or Massie being available at #32. But, these guys won't around at #64.

         The Giants have won two championships due to a strong pass-rushing front four, and some clutch QB play. If the G-men take an edge rusher, odds are that they've made a decision to release Osi Umenyiora...who is already unhappy with his status as a reserve, and his contract.

         As you correctly point out, RB is another need. Even with the addition of Keith Rivers, they also could use an upgrade at LB, a WR to replace the departed Mario Manningham, and an upgrade at TE.

    I did make a change, yes.  I think they'll prefer Mercilus' height/length... Chandler Jones in Rd 2 also strikes me as a Giants type DE.

    The way this mock board broke, Kalil, Reiff, Martin and Adams were all off the board and I think 32 is too high for Massie.  I don't disagree that they need help on the OL, I just didn't see a fit at 32.

    Re: BDC LIVE MOCK DRAFT

    TexasPat and mbeaulieu are both right...And I mean: Both really, really "right".

    I can't see The Giants wanting anything other than an Offensive Tackle, then second An Offensive Guard.  TexasPat must've just re-watched that Giants/49'ers playoff match-up on NFL.com a day or two ago, just as I did.  Whether it was first: OT Will Beatty (another stud pro baller from my alma mater) getting Manning killed for no apparent great reason on what the 9'ers-defense did on his side (other than just 1 player's underwhelming skill-set at O-Tackle), and/or that David Diehl (usually decent, right- injury and age?)/Mitch Petrus (a guy I was kinda high on...four or five years back, in a bad College Draft Class)- turnstile at the Guard Spot(s)...IF Eli had just 1 bit more open-look time (and he's pretty freak!ng good at buying time to check down his receiver reads thoroughly)- BUT IF he simply had/has that comfortable pocket for 1/2-1 second longer...MAN=With NY's collection of wideouts?  ...Could be scary high-octane (seein' as Eli doesn't resort back to doing 1-2 mind-boggling momentum-shifting, dvmb plays every single game).

    ...But mbeaulieu's recognizes that The Giants final-button-pushers on Draft Day, are no dvmmies...  New York does NOT pass up far higher quality skilled talent in a position they DON'T trully need the most, for- Far lesser skilled talent (comparatively between the 2) at a position that they feel that moreso, DO need.  Imo, New York DREAMS of Martin, then Adams, or A DeCastro-miracle, or even a Cordy Glenn (whom might be an absolutely ideal-match to their system)...but IF not?  Then they ain't takin' 2nd tier talent when they could still nab either the #1 or #2 top-quality talent elsewhere, Even IF it's at a lesser position of need simply because they're somewhat lacking there.

    People say Belichick takes BPA...lmao, Belichick minus the 2011 NFL Draft 2 choices of Ryan Mallet slipping & Marcus Cannon's health, probably has taken BPA, LESS Times (offered by allotted NE pick count) than ANY other NFL Coach...seriously.  No, I take that back- during Belichick's single instance of Excellent Draft Class Haul & Subsequent success, He did (more than ever before-2010): Spikes, Hernandez, Gronk, DMC, and even Deadrick-ALL instances of Top 3 available talents during specific NE Draft pick & round selection of them...  Examples of selections where he didn't take players that were ranked in say the Top 10-12 (or more) of available skill-level of talent?  Cunningham, Price, Welch (and Ted Larsen is close to this criterion).

    The Giants DO Take BPA...lately moreso than ever.  Relentlessly even.  Position need, Specific Player Man-Love...ALL these things get shelved in place of the greater weight in the ratio of BPA.

    Mercilus then maybe Perry, fits their MO perfect.

    Very hard call w/ Cleveland...  Thought I read jri's Tampa pick wrong, as initially I quickly glanced and thought it said David Wilson (Wilson isn't the better RB for Tampa, but playing IN Tampa would be ideal for Wilson).  Either way, Cleveland absolutely & desperately needs ANY sorta Offensive Weapon...

    So alright, now that I'm actually aware halfway into my post that they got Trent Richardson, and Brandon Wheaton, let's try to give Wheaton someone to actually catch the ball when he throws it.

    Mohammed Sanu's gettin' the call over the several questions that come with Alshon Jeffrey (weight, senior year, combine sitting out, etc).  Sanu has taken hand-offs, played every receiver spot, and he's just an outright competitor- The fact that he's a wideout out of Rutgers was and IS the only thing keeping him outta rounding out The Top 25...  An overall freakin' motherload for Cleveland so far-

    Browns: Mohammed Sanu from Rutgers.

    The Rams filled a huge hole in Rd 1 with addition of Justin Blackmon, finally giving Sam Bradford a potential top level WR.

    I think they stay on the offensive side of the ball particularly the offensive front 5... they have a lot of high round talent at OT (LT Rodger Saffold and RT Jason Smith) and I think they continue the trend working to add pieces to keep Bradford upright, allowing him to play with his new WR toy.

    This kid was one of the nastier that I've seen on film, moves very well and was just way too much for anyone at the DII level to handle... projects as an excellent OG at the NFL level (was a LT in college).

    THE PICK:  Amini Silatolu OG Midwestern State

    Also considered RB, LB, DB, TE etc.
