Bedard's Perspective on Why Wes Is Gone

Mostly speculation, but definitely plausible.  http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/extra_points/2013/03/welker_move_is.html

We all know why WES is gone! Its because he has BUTTERFINGERS when it matters most, and he's the Rondo of the NE PATRIOTS! Wes, take your two most memorable plays, TWO DROPPED BALLS, that likely changed history, and go snuggle up to that HUGE MELLON HEAD. You deserve one-another...two fading stat monsters. Guess Bill stuck it in your face, huh DWARF?

It's a pretty good read.  You have to believe if the patriots are changing offensive philosophy that they would talk to Brady about it first and let him know their plans.  Sure he's probably upset about Welker not signing however I believe he was aware that it could happen.  To put out there he's enraged and feels "pierced through the heart" is a little much.

Re: Bedard's Perspective on Why Wes Is Gone

I agree, a good read with a most telling point being the facts about Gronk and Hernandez.  Amandola has other elements to his game that will add to this team.  Could it be the Pats may focus on the D, just a matter of waiting on the fans part as to who the team gets?  Look what Edelman began doing until he got hurt.  There are many good pieces here and as much as it hurts, from a fan perspective, to lose Welker, BB obviously sees other things on the team and on the way to the team the fans do not.
