You tell em DB!  Don't back down just because they prove you wrong.  Just keep changing your story to be right!

The DB Coach is right!  We have done fine trading choices for players like Moss, Welker, Vrabel, but most our admittedly low first rounders have disappointed.  We could have had Steven Jackson of the Rams in the draft - he openly lobbied BB to draft him - but no - we wait a year to take Maroney.  Mike Oher - hell no - let's drop down, let the Ravens have him- and we get Chung in second round instead.  This year, we did not make the effort to move up in the first round to get Michigan's Brandon Graham ( but Eagles and Ryan did!) event though OLB and passrush were our key weakness on D.  McCourty looks lost and we moved down again in first to get him - another second round Chung equivalent.  We need a GM to handle draft.  BB should stick to coaching, which he is much better at doing than drafting top talent..  Keep in up DB Coach!!!

Troll is abvious, this years draft along with the one last year have been some of the best in the BB era. I don't know what rock you have been under recently but if your actually a Pats fan you would notice that Chung has been doing extremelly well, Our  new TE's are beasts and McCourty has been playing decently for a rookie in a complex defensive scheme. Last Year we drafted our Franchise LT in the second round, a starter in Butler and Chung who has impressed so far. This year we got Spikes to play along side Mayo, McCourty who has looked ok so far and the two TE's. So lets see, we got 4 players that have the potential to be great yet you wanted us to move up and get one guy in Brandon Graham? Are you out of your mind?

Merriweather was in the pro bowl last year and he was a 1st round pick. Not to mention I hardly consider the pro bowl to be the bar for figuring out if someone can draft. But while we are on the subject Gostowski Light Mankins has made it twice Koppen Merriweather Brady Vince Wilfork has made it twice Moss Welker All these guys have made the pro bowl as members of the Pats.

MVP Killer, I believe he said no one has made AFTER the 1st round since 01, and Mankins, Meriweather, Wilfork, and Brady did make it but was drafted before 01.  Koppen?  Believe so, and Samuel.  Kazur maybe in 07.

Otherwise I would need to look at Pats website.

Well lets see how the next few years go and see how things go without Pioli factor. Right now too early to tell on any of these guys, even though many fans want to label rookies bust before the season is halfway over. Still since 2001 Pats have won more games than any other team. They are still the defending AFC East champs, haven't finished 2nd place (outside of tie breakers) since 2000. If some want to give up on this team then let them, they can do something else on their Sunday's. My hope is they re-invent the defense with the past few drafts and keep on dominating this division like they have the last 9 seaons and become the first back to back team of the decade in NFL history.
