Like I told you junior, find a game where Brady threw 40+ times that we lost and the run game was being effective; let's say 4.5 ypc or better from the backs. You can't because they don't exist. Amaze us and find one game out of say the last 80!

There's your bet bucko. Take it or be forever branded a kookoo for cocoa puffs buffoon.
With all due respect to Russ (that's hard), using 4.5 yards per carry as the measuring stick for an effective run game is a pretty high standard.  Currently, only 9 teams in the NFL have that kind of a stat.  I wouldn't equate all others as ineffective.  In 2011, there were only 8 (25% of the league).  In 2010 and 2009, only 7.

Not to call you out, but its one of your more common tactics which is to set challenges that can't be met then claim victory.
Nobody asked you troll.

The league average is 4.3 ypc. Same this year as last year. That average includes QB kneeldowns and sneaks. So that includes guys like your prankster hero Fetus Head who averages 2.0 ypc for his career.

I'll stick with the 4.5 as being considered "effective" for RBs as I stated. Pffft.

The 32 backs with the most carries this year are averaging 4.3 yards per carry.  If you look at the 16 backs with most carries this year, they are averaging 4.5 per carry.  Benny is 6th in carries this year, so his stats are included in those calcs.  Here are the top 16 by number of carries and their averages:

    Foster - 335 carries - 4.0 average

    Peterson - 314 carries - 6.0 average

    Morris - 302 carries - 4.7 average

    Lynch - 297 carries - 5.0 average

    Martin - 291 carries - 4.5 average

    Green-Ellis - 278 carries - 3.9 average

    Charles - 271 carries - 5.4 average

    Ridley - 270 carries - 4.4 average

You crack me up! He got 2 yards over a thousand two years ago, which equates to 62 yards a game. Last year he got around 650 yards which equates to 41 yards a game..this year he'll average 65 yards a game. Running backs don't get older and better - they are at their best when they are young - he's been in his prime for three seasons. This IS the best it's going to get, I can guarantee you that.

And I'm sure Benny isn't reading this and getting sad that I'm "giving up on a guy" that doesn't even play for our team anymore.

Right. BB should have kept the below average Benny and sat the above average Ridley on the bench. Atta boy on your display of football knowledge.
