I think Joe Gibbs was great, but Bill Walsh invented a "system" that changed football. In fact, an argument for Shanahan is almost an argument for Walsh, lol.

In Response to Best NFL Head Coach By Decade:
[QUOTE]Hey Patsies friends and foes...I got an interesting one and I would be VERY interested in all your  opinions. My best by decade list: 1960's: Lombardi 1970's: Noll 1980's: Walsh 1990's: Shanahan (debatable) 2000's: Bellichick It maybe an "obvious", mainstream list, but there is certainly room for some debate and other factors besides SB wins..I am sure arguments can be made for others. Whaddaya all think in Pats Land?
