Commie - maybe, just maybe :) It's the best regular season win I can ever remember!!!

Plus, overcoming the refs, a crazy/bold overtime "take the wind" call by Belichick....

and Welker coming through for us. :)

    wow!

The Colts win in 2003 with goal line stand was better. The way it ended was sort of goofy this time. It was a comedy of errors so that cheapens it some. The Jets 50 point whipping in 2010 was also great though the debacle of a play off game later that year surely cheapens it a whole lot.

That was big. Colts win that game, both Colts and Pats are 13-3. Homefield goes to Indy. No way we beat them in the AFC title game in Indy, No Super Bowl 38 title for us.

Clearly the best comeback win in franchise history but not the best reg season victory.  I'm inclined to agree on that 2003 Colts goal line stand win.

I would have to respectfully disagree. You see that stat where over the last 50 years teams that were down +24 at the half were 5-485? Then factor in it was the Broncos, a good team, over 200+ yds by Moreno, the brutal weather conditions and to win it in overtime....all of this makes worrying about if it was a masterpiece pointless...it became a masterpiece for what it was...and it was the greatest win in regular season that I have ever seen...and one I said they had to have.

Here's what you posted on another thread titled 'win or lose, this is FOOL's GOLD!' you started just 48 minutes earlier:

just not buying it.. tugh for any road team to keep up its intensity and passion when up 24. we r closer to thae first half team than the second half one. when it counted, broncs got a TD!

    Nice flip flop LOL

The Pats had many great wins over the years. Goal line stand in 2003 vs Colts was big. The same year they beat Miami in OT when the refs were trying to give the Dolphins the win. The Pats blocked a FG at the end of regulation, then Miami missed one in OT and after that Brady threw a slant to Troy Brown which went for 80+ for a TD. Last night was probably the best come from behind win in franchise history.

Dont know where it ranks but I Very Much Enjoyed the game! It was a Very satisfying win after a horrid start. We deserved it,...Just had to drop some dead weight./....Ahem, Ridley/Hightower

Sent Forehead and his overated offense packing. It was extra gratifying for me watching as Fletcher took over as I predicted and steadied our Run D so atleast we didnt let him run all the way to the endzone. The plan was to let them run a little but Spikes was the only guy getting in there until they replaced hightower with Fletch. Ridley fumbled again on our way to a score that deflated our team and started a trickle down effect. Im sorry, Ridley is bad for business.

Why NOT US?!  I told you all early on its gonna be a fun season filled with adversity and it has been. We are sitting pretty right now.

Just think about all the poor bastards that either left at halftime from the game, or went to bed at halftime watching from home. ( I know of a couple guys that left the stadium at halftime).....and have busting their chops all morning.

I have to admit, at 24-0, I came close to saying "screw this" and going to bed. Then I remembered that I don't want to be the fool that missed this biggest game of the year.

Thanking God for 5 hour energy drinks this morning!! When they scored their 3rd TD, and were only behind by 3, I had a weird feeling it was our night.

the 2007 week 17 game against the Giants was better, it sealed history, was a great game and two teams with nothing to play for played their hearts out, Brady broke passing TD record, Moss broke TD reception record, big comeback

a repeat in the Super Bowl would have made it even better, but alas

Manning is way behind Brady on the TD record, by the way, he's at 36, and a 1 or 2 TD game at KC and it becomes really difficult

I remember that game. Late October of 1974. The Pats with Plunkett and Mack Herron etc..beat the Vikings(eventual NFC champ) 17-14. They went to 6-1 and first place in the division. They were looking very good and 3 of those 6 wins were against 3 elite teams at the time. Tha Dolphins, The Rams and the Vikings. Then they stumbled and went 1-6 the rest of the year to finish 7-7. I guess it was a prelude to 76 and beyond when the Pats contended. I still love that 48-17 thrashing of the Raiders in 76. That was one of my favorite Pat regular season victories.

Great Thanksgiving gift for the fans. They beat the odds on AFC champions by crushing them in the 2nd half.

Teams that win the 2nd half only have to stay close in the 1st half.

The sweetener was seeing Gomer and Welker deflated.

but it's not listed.  Any other details you can share about it?
