I think these two would be great as a team to broadcast the Patriots games. Yes? No?
Big O and Zo??

Zo doing the color commentary and Ordway calling the game? I don''t think Ordway has that kind of experience, but he's talented so he'd probably be good at it.
Big O did the Celts games for years with Johnny Most. -

there will never be another most. We used to turn the tv sound down and play most on the radio.

Bad idea
I'm no fan of Ordway to begin with, but especially not of his play-by-play, which was horrible.
No experience doing football either as far as I know. And he is too old anyway
Bring back Sean McDonough!
I'll listen to the radio broadcast again if Sean-o returns to do the games -

Yup, during Johnny's illness and beyond as I recall
He was awful
His talents were elsewhere, not doing play by play -

I think Ordway would eventual punch Zolak in the face for all the times he would talk over and interrupt him. I like Zolak's football knowledge for the most part, but I find him next to impossible to listen to...he can't keep his mouth shut, he can't pause for a second and listen to what the other guy is saying, he can't slow it down. It's been three years, he hasn't changed one bit.

I agree about Zolak
Dont listen to the radio broadcasts much anymore, but the few times I tuned last season, I was struck by how hyper he is
And his homerism is embarassing -

But big O was just the color guy, not play by play. Hopefully they go after David Howard -he is great radio play by play guy...wouldn't mind him at all. -

Gresh is worse. He's a babbling load. Zolak doesn't really interrupt, it's more how he has to try to get a word in on Gresh, IMO.
Gresh sounds like a moron. -

I remember listening to the master Johnny Most way back when...and asking myself "who is this rump swab Glen Ordaway?"
Ordway has turned out OK, but has no real talent.
I'd pass.

He didn't it before. He was the Celtics radio guy before Sean Grande.
