I guess my avatar was too hardcore for this site. It was removed by the staff.
Censorship hits a low point. LMFAO! -

This is the only site that has censored my avatar. Figures it would be a New England Patriot site doing it. I am the anti-censorship. -

Posted by baddawgI have no idea what it was, but since you consider it to be "hard core", my guess is that it was probably in poor taste. -

Nope, no email and it wasn't animated. They just took the liberty to remove without an explanation.
It figures that this is the ONLY site that's had a problem with it. What a joke. -

Posted by baddawgWhat makes you so sure they are removing it? I am guessing you are probably doing something so simple as not waiting. You didn't even ask how I could describe your avatar that you had claimed had already been removed. I could describe it because I could see it. Why don't you try a bit more patience and a lot less dvmb azz. -

You saw it because of cookies. It was removed by the staff, FOR SURE. If I were to replace it again it may get me banned from the site all together. I won't push it.
Cenosorship is alive and well here. -

Censorship to me is censoring the expression of the truth... not offensive avatars. That's a matter of what fits a board like this one. Some of the avatars have been porn-like, and I'm glad most of these have vanished. They expressed nothing and objectified women (also called sexist). -

My first avatar was a cartoon of a dog lifting his leg. My second one was a claymation of a dog by a fire hydrant. Hardly offensive, unless youre boston.com.
Nobody anywhere else that I post has had an issue with it.
This place is a joke, just like their team. LOL -

Posted by baddawgReally? You are one of those people who seems to want to blame others instead of looking at simple solutions. Not to mention that you have no idea how this works. A cookie wouldn't do this as they don't work that way, but nice try trying to blame a magical device you don't understand. You must be awesome during an eclipse. The HTML for the site is dynamic and rebuilds the page each time. This includes the page elements which include your user name and avatar. You will notice that if you change your avatar, it changes for all of your previous posts as well.It isn't that you are completely ignorant of how these things work. That can happen. It isn't even that you blame the boston.com staff as if there is a server related issue, it may have caused the problem. The problem is that with a single event and with zero knowledge on the subject or investigation, you decided to cry censorship. You are a turd for all bowls. -

Too many people confuse this site with a public place where freedom of speech, expression, and whatever else is somewhat protected. This is a commercial website and its owners are free to do whatever they wish to do. They have a right to control the content on their site. As fans (or in your case a troll), we are free to vote with our feet if we don't like something and leave. Most of us wish that is exactly what you do.You may notice the ads on this page. Ad revenue is what keeps most of these sites free (although that could change). The more people that enjoy this site, the more ads that will get clicked, and the more revenue the site owner realizes. Annoying trolls and offensive actions (language, pictures, etc) drive people away from the site. Less site visitors equals less ads clicked which equals less ad revenue. So in other words, it's not censorship, it's business. There are a great number of forums out there, feel free to troll on any of those. -

Posted by carawaydjI think he just heard the term while riding in the interwebs and decided it must be to blame.Great post on censorship issue above. I was going to post a similar response earlier until I realized the issue was with the poster and his tech capacity rather than an issue of BDC actually doing anything to remove his avatar.I find it amazing in this country that people often scream when they believe their rights are being abused when they have no understanding of what their rights actually are.
