Montana was 4-3 in CCGs and 9-7 in divisional games. Fetus Head is 9-10 in the playoffs.
Give Brady a defense like when he was 10-0 and that 6-6 might look a whole lot better.
Give Manning or Montana those defenses and they would have been 10-0, too.
Stop lying troll.
No lies Babe - here you go.
In 2002 the Colts went one and out despite having the 7th rated scoring defense as Fetus Head threw 2 picks and zero TDs.
Go read the play by play of the game and tell me whether or not that game was Manning's fault. The Jets scored on their first 3 possessions. Vanderjagt missed a FG on the colts 2nd possession. The colts muffed a kickoff on their 3rd possession and 20 minutes into the game, the Jets were up 17 to nothing. The Jets did not score on their next possession but scored on the following 2. That's scoring on 5 of their first 6 possessions to a 27-0 lead without Manning turning the ball over.
Manning's not absolved, because he needed to find a way to get points, but that vaunted D you mentioned was awful.
In 2005 they went one and out despite having the 2nd rated scoring defense.
In 2005 Mike Vanderjagt missed a field goal to tie the game and send it into overtime. That has never happened to Brady. Its happened to Manning twice (the other in 99).
In 2007 they went one and out despite having the #1 rated scoring defense as Fetus Head threw another 2 picks.
Manning's 2 picks included a half ending hail mary and the other was a throw on the SD 5 yd line (close to scoring) that was a screen to kenton keith which hit keith directly in his hands not inside or outside but right at the numbers. Keith stone handed the ball and it fell into Eric Weddle's hands who was on the ground. Also in that game, Marvin Harrison fumbled in scoring range. Further, the vaunted D could not stop Billy Cundiff and Darren Sproles from Scoring. The d was so bad that with 2 minutes left and the colts on the chargers 7 yd line down 4, they went for it on 4th and goal from the 7. They could have kicked a FG then tried to stop cundiff and sproles but went for it and didn't make it.
In 2008 they went one and out despite having the 7th rated scoring defense.
In 2008 Manning played well. Unfortunately, Mike Scifres put the colts consisitently in bad field position. After his punts the colts started on their 10, 19, 3, 7, 9, and 1 yd lines. Also, Manning had the colts with the lead with less than 2 minutes to play. the D could not stop the Chargers from tying to send into overtime then SD got the ball to start the OT drove the ball the length of the field to score and win the game. Manning didn't have a chance.
In 2009 they lost the SB despite having the 8th ranked scoring defense.
Manning threw a pick 6 and he'll never live that down. What people don't talk about, however, is the fumble on the kickoff to start the 2nd half and the fact that the colts vaunted defense allowed Brees to go 20-21 from the middle of the second quarter to the end of the game and allowed the Saints to score on each of their last 5 possessions.
That's half of Fetus Head's losses despite having a top 10 D.
By the way, if being a statistically top 10 defense is all that matters, then how come Manning won a SB with the 23 ranked D?
Further, Brady had the 8th ranked D in 2010 (1 and done); 5th in 2009 (1 and done); 4th in 2007 (lost in the SB) when Brady publicly mocked Plaxico Burress for saying the Pats would score only 14 pts; 2nd in 2006 (lost in afccg).
Your argument doesn't really hold water.
