Let em all gloat! I see Rodney is on the bangwagon as well saying Peyton was the best he ever faced and YES he has faced Tom Brady! Well yea in 2002 when we s*cked coming off our SB win and Rodney was playing on one leg. He was a prisoner of the moment I believe. Manning Owns the regular season.  Brady will Own the Broncos defense in week 12 and expose these frauds. Let them enjoy their wins

PM and TB12 are both great QBs but when it comes to money games, TB12 stands taller.  Let PM have his regular season, just like another great QB, Dan Marino!

I really don't care about Manning's stats.  I don't care if he averages 400 yards passing and 4TDs per game for the entire season.  As a Patriots fan, all I care about is that the Patriots come away with a W in head-tohead matchups and bring home another SB trophy.  In the mean time, I'll enjoy even the Horseface's accomplishments!

    Waaaaaaaaaa! waaaaaaaaaaa!

First of all, there is no such thing as running up the score.  The job of the offense is to score points, the job of the D is to stop the offense from scoring points.  This was settled years ago.  The fact that a few writers (typicaly ones of teams that were blown out) were crying about getting crushed was as sad then as is your post now.  Get over it, you whining little patsie (fan).  The only thing to take into consideration with this ficticious 'running up the score' is that it will come back at you at some point.  If you don't care about that, so be it.

The continued need of patsie fans to try to point out how unfair it is to be a patsie fan is just pathetic.  If it's not crying about why Goodell didn't do this to that team when he did to the patsies or why guy was fined for a hit when a patsie was fined, it's crying about why the media should act as single unit across the country and make the same idiotic claims that were put to rest years ago.  Your need to try to trivialize Manning's incredible play thus far in 2013 is as pathetic as your need to whine about the injustice of it all.

    well said.

Also, Brady did not run up scores and neither is Manning. At the end of the day, the head coaches are responsible for all plays called.

hey what was with the behind the back butt fumble thing?  Its going to be an exciting season in Jersey.

One thing I agree with is that if you dont want us to score then stop us. No such thing as running up the score.

Re: Brady 2007 / Manning 2013 Running Up Scores Double Standard

Here's a reposting of what I've already written on another thread.

    the situations are different.

    1.  Didn't start hearing that about the pats until they beat the redskins 52-7 in late october.  The Patriots were up 38-0 with 2 minutes left in the third and they kept Brady in.  He held the ball 6 minutes into the 4th and scored, and then came out.  Manning was up 35-13 (much different situation than 38-0) when he played his last drive of the game.  The broncos scored before the end of the quarter and manning didn't play again.

    2.  The pats had a much better defense than the Broncos do now.  The broncos have yet to hold an opponent under 20 pts while in 2007 the pats gave up more than 20 points only 5 times in the regular season.

Fair or not, the circumstances are different.  In that game where Brady played into the fourth and scored, he started the drive in the third.  Its natural for him to continue the drive to its conclusion and then sit, so I see no issue there to even consider.

Fact is the grumblings continued after the pats won 56-10 a couple of weeks later.  I assure you that if the broncos continue to score like they have an manage to hold some teams under 20, you'll hear the grumblings.

So you're not even an old time Colts fan. No way you did not start hearing about the Pats until 2009 if you were really following the Colts for a long time.

Pats were champs 2001, 2003, 2004 and were regularly beating the Colts until 2005. How can you not hear about the Pats?

Re: Brady 2007 / Manning 2013 Running Up Scores Double Standard

I know plenty about the pats - As I noted what I posted was reposted here from another thread.  Obviously some problems with what was communicated toward that thread vs. this thread.

The point was that I hadn't heard much about the pats running up scores until their October 2007 game against the Redskins.

Even if the pats were criticized, pats fans whined about the criticism.  Now they are whining that the criticism has yet to be laid on someone else.  Talk about a double standard.

a suppossed colt fan with an unhealthy man love  for Gomer who spends his time on a patriot fan board criticizing Pat's fans. Don't worry dogg scientist are working feverishly to come up with something to help you with your affliction.

Seriously shouldn't you be over on the Titan's board or the Texans board. You really need to let go of your obsession with all things Patriots.
