BRADY organized a team workout today....  commie.
Its freakin june 1st and the way things are looking the owners are going to keep us all from enjoying football this year so there is plenty of time for workouts.
Please contact the owners and tell them to stop being so greedy so we can all enjoy football.  The players are ready to play under the current system, but the owners want more.
LAST POST.. SORRY!  Im a Tom Brady fan and a Pats fan through and through, but Im endeared to the Tom brady of old.  Back in the day when he won SuperBowls on his tenacity and gritt!!!!  He won with no name WR's because he's freakin Tom Brady, but that doesnt mean he cant be softening up a bit without me being a pats fan anymore..

Note: Brady has gotten better and better despite a catastrophic injury. The D has become a shadow of its former self.

OMG its the end of the world that Brady didnt get his teamates together for workouts til now. Arent these players grown men?? What? They cant workout on their own?? They need a babysitter to show them how to workout?? Do some of them not know how to run and jump? Dam, big freaking deal. Isnt there something else you should be worried about then Brady not getting his team together?

    No.

Whats the difference between what Brady has done in past years and this year? Nothing.

This is when passing camps are usually held depending on the date they schedule it. Instead of scheduling it on some stupid date they waited for the rookies to be drafted and did it during Toms chairty event that takes place every year.

Do you think before you make threads and try to stir up nonsense?

This is just a public relations move on Brady's part to appease overzealous fans such as Koolaid Contrarian. These early workouts will have no impact when the playoffs start.

When the regular season starts and the Pats are winning games we'll all laugh at the apparent angst many of you are showing about the perceived "lack" of focus of Brady in this OFF season.  He is most liklely working out very hard following foot surgery and he doesn't have to announce it in the Enquirer, which many seem to think he should.  Just because we see him going down a water slide does not mean he is not working out!

Re: BRADY FINALLY ORGANIZES TEAM WORKOUTS

Let's get this straight.  All 32 teams are more or less working out together.  The teams are all intact.  Its really something to see all the players together, ready to beat their foes.

Coincidentally, the owners have returned to the negotiating table.  Is it because they are so enthused about the players' love for the sport?

Or, maybe they've realized that they players, put together, are filthy rich, and all the teams are intact and working out, but without any coaches, and without any stadiums.

So, what, besides lots of money, is going to prevent the players themselves from renting out the Boston College stadium for 8 weeks next fall, and 31 other stadiums around the country, and then hiring 32 fresh head coaches that aren't quite as good as the NFL's head coaches, and 200 llesser coaches, and asking for bids from a new TV network or two?

Would you go to a game at BC to watch Tom Brady and all his linemen including the new draft picks go against Mark Sanchez, Revis Island, (ok hold your nose but would you watch?)   What if Rex Ryan wasn't at the BC game?  Or, how much real money would you pay to go to Foxboro and watch Rex Ryan on the sidelines with 53 Arena League football players that you had never heard of play 53 guys in Patriots uniforms, but at least BB would be on the sidelines?  What if the two replacement quarterbacks brought back from the dead were Chad Pennington versus Brett Favre, or possibly UMass's last quarterback in his first start as a rookie in the official NFL?  Would that make it much of a game?

    Settle or else.
In Response to Re: Y CAN'T BRADY ORGANIZE TEAM WORKOUTS, WATER SLIDE WITH MALLET OR STOP MERRIWEATHER FROM RAPPING? : the players don't need to "grandstand" to get the public's support-they've got it already and have had it since day one. rightfully, too
    Posted by JintsFan
That's because the public is too stupid to reaslise that if the players get everything they want it will mean the end of the NFL as a competative sports league

Player only practices are useless...if that was the case they wouldn't need coaches...it's cool that they get together and go out and get some beers...but there is no installing of playbooks or schemes....http://60maxpowero.com

tom, apparently has received my memo. finally showing off some leadership with masculinity. i like where we are at this time. he went deep twice to edelman after not going deep at any of the team workouts. he and welk were on the same page as well on a few throws. he is still limping and was wearing some kind of brace on his surgically-repaired foot. was great that he could show up and honor his obligations despite clearly not being 100%. he also did some passes on the run. he should be ok come training camp and whatever pre-season the nfl may have.
