[QUOTE]Like I said if you dont think crowd noise makes a difference in the game you know NOTHING about the game of football. We have a young team and young players feed off the energy of the crowd. And when your fans cant get loud on a 3rd and 5 from the 5 yard line when the D is trying to make a goal-line stop it is embarrassing. Walter: Dont worry Donnie, they are cowards.

Ever since I quit going to the games it got quiet.

I blame the cheerleaders. They're not leading cheers good enough.
You want noise get some pole dancers out there.

ever since they built the razor,im not rich by no means, me and my 3 brothers split the price on our tix and and it cost about 2g each a year for 10 games, we park at the liquor store and walk it seems 2miles to the stadium and stay till the end. the only time the crowd stands the entire game is a playoff game. we have had our tix since 1990, and the diff between the crowd in foxboro and the crowd at the razor is night and day. and it is because the middle class (most of them) have been priced out.  now you do get people who leave early and go to the game just to say they went, the only solution is to lower the prices on tickets and fix the traffic problem, the only guy who can do that is mr kraft, dont hold your breath people. go pats.

From your lips to gods ears..I've said a million times I got priced out of my seats.
I don't blame Kraft for turning a buck but this is how things have evolved. At first I missed going to the games. Now I enjoy it. If I ever hit the lottery maybe I'll buy a luxury box and take a limo in every game.

[QUOTE]I am all set with a box seat and a limo, I like going and getting there as soon as you are allowed in, getting my drink and smoke on while firing up the grill. I have been going with the same guys for years and I wouldnt trade it for the world. I buy my tickets off a guy a work with so they are his seats but i go to all the games and have been for the last 4 years. I like being in the lower bowl in section 123 with people who like me get into the game and stand for the defense, its the same people every year and we all know each other and its a blast. I am all set with trading that in for box seats and lobster and all that crap. Give me a cold one and blunt and some tailgate food and im a happy man. The guy who does the cooking for me has a BBQ team and placed as high as 4th in the East and even beat the number one BBQ in the USA last year and his food is just...the best BBQ I have ever had and he goes all out for each game. This stuff cant be replaced with a limo and box seats bro.

We have also gotten spoiled by success. As this year goes on I believe the seats will stay filled. Think about it, no one is saying they are not showing up due to cost, they are saying the are leaving early.

I can see it, game is lost or won by the half, ho, hum, i'm out. As we build on this year and every game is one for history, no one is coughing up an expensive seat early in an important game....

    Have faith my friends

I just scored a couple tickets to the Colts game. I haven't been in since they built the new stadium so I'm looking forward to it. I will be amazed if the stadium isn't rocking for that game.

Enjoy, my daughter has two for the Colts/Titans at Tenn.....she won them and thought it was a poor win. She found out after getting too many offers from friends to go with that it is a prime show.

    You will have a blast

    Go Pats

You know what Killa, I think you damn well that's not what I said.  Now I've already made my point that I don't think this issue warrants this b*tch session that you're crusading, and if you don't agree that's fine, but all this "you don't know anything about football" and "you're not a real fan" bullsh*it is starting to p*ss me off.  I haven't missed a game in four years even though I spent over two of those years in third world countries.  I've made sure to have people tape the games and send them to me just so I can sit in tent that's 150 degrees watching a game that I already know the outcome of on 13 inch T.V. powered by a generator full of mogas I siphoned from a Kawasaki mule.  I'm a fan, even if I don't feel like being a parrot to your b*tch session, so you can take your sanctimonious "I'm a better fan than all of you" attitude and shove it up your a**.

    Now THATS PASSION!

Going through all that, and it seems you'd be more on the other side of the fence. Everything you went through to watch a game on that 13inch TV, and it doesn't positively p i s s you off to know how in-crowd fans act?

That type of reaction is what I'd expect from a fan. That type of fan doesn't sit on his hands all game.

We can agree to disagree, but at leat we both have that burning flame of a true fan, unlike so many who actually go to the games and then defend their "right" to not cheer or stand. People can do what they want, everyone pays to get in. But I can also talk to the person sitting next to me throughout a movie, I can blow my nose and pass gas (because F A R T is too obscene? Oh my) in a nice restaurant, I can stick my finger in the bowl of dip at a party...it doesn't make any of that ok or acceptable to the people around me. But, question these people's intensity, and they argue they have the "right" to act in a way that has never been acceptable for a football fan.

Give me the dawg pound in cleveland or the black hole in oakland over the pink hats in boston any day.
