Brady On Pace To Have One Of The Greatest QB Stat Seasons Of All-Time

If Brady doesn't throw another interception for the rest of the season and sets the all time attempts without a pick record, it is easily one of the greatest seasons stat wise by a quarterback in NFL history.

I know his touchdowns don't come close to 2007 season when he threw 50, but the TD to interception ratio is amazing.  Making it even more special is the fact Brady doesn't have a franchise RB like Farve did last season that takes the load off of him.

These are some of Hall Fame QB best TD-Int seasons.

    Tom Brady - 2007.  50 TDs.  8 Ints.

    Steve Young - 1994  35 TDs.  10 Ints.

    Dan Marino - 1984  48 TDs.  17 Ints.

    Brett Farve - 2009  33 TDs.  7 Ints.

    John Elway - 1993  25 TDs.  10 Ints.

    Jim Kelly - 1991   24 TDs.  9 Ints.

    Peyton Manning - 2004   49 TDs.  10 Ints.

    Joe Montana - 1989  26 Tds.  8 Ints.

    Troy Aikman - 1993  15 TDs.  6 Ints.

    Warren Moon - 1990  33 TDs.  8 Ints.

In DVOA standards he is having the greatest season ever by a QB. That means a lot to people who pay attention to the stat.

The 2007 offense was great, but most of the big plays came from Moss running down field and playing lights out football.  Teams proved like the Giants in the Superbowl you can shutdown that offense if you take Moss out of the game.

This offense with the way Brady is playing is tough to shutdown.  Welker, Branch, Gronkowski, Hernandez, Tate, and Woodhead coming out of the backfield.  One of those guys is going to be open and Brady is going to find him.  Plus with the Law Firm and Woodhead not fumbling and this defense getting good, we are going to be tough to beat.
