The funniest part of this thread is seeing how the two factions do not even see how what they say against either Brady or BB is equally applied to the other.

The two guys are linked together. Every time the Pats win or lose they both get the same W or L in the column.

    Very amusing.

Not that amusing, really.  Brady is the QB, BB isn't. QB is the most important position arguably in all of sports.

That would require thinking. Megatool doesn't go there.

You realize Rusty does not constitute "a faction" right?

And please explain how things said about BB the GM apply to Brady.

WHy is that? Brady isn't the QB and QB isn't the most important position in sports?

Russ, everything that happens on a football field goes through the head coach everything. From game plans to the play calls...everything. yes there is latitude with coaches and players but if the HC doesn't like the calls or schemes it is his ultimate responsibility to change the call, make adjustments and make all decisions.

All you troll or Brady nay sayers are pathetic! For the trolls in the room you are lower than pond scum...the fact that you have to be on a Patriots forum just clearly illustrates that point. As for the nay sayers....you sound so fickle, every player goes through slumps and considering this guy has won 3 rings for us and taken us to 5 Super Bowls it makes me sad to think you guys are giving up on an all time Great! One day after Brady retires you fickle clowns will be left clamoring for someone 1/2 the Qb Brady has been for this team. As for the shoulder being announced as the reason ehybhebwas limited in practice...I'd bet its his hand...why tip your opponents to an injury..classic BB

Now for all us believers...lets go fry some fish this weekend ..

    Go Pats!

    Preach it!

Give Tom credit.... instead of throwing the pathetic collection of receivers the "greatest GM of all-time" has provided him under the bus, he is saying it's the shoulder instead. LMAO

This is pathetic. We have Pats fans mocking the greatest coach and GM of all time while the HOF QB who hasn't been good in a postseason since 2006, is getting a pass as his career fades away.

Babe has abused 6 Brady dolls already today.  Cool it, Babe. Save a fresh one for tonight. lol

The HoF coach has not been good in the postseason since 2006 either... Out game planned by Coughlin twice in the Super Bowl.

If Tom Brady shoulder is not a 100% I believe the report. I will not call anybody any names on this board unless its true.

I love it! We have a QB that is responsible for us winning this year and rusty slams the guy and claims he is making "excuses", when that couldn't be further from the truth. Meanwhile our GM has spent the last three offseasons signing dud, after dud, after dud, after dud. Laughable.

There are a few more than just Rusty as others have already pointed out. Just as there are a few more that get lumped in with you as well in your faction.

Easy. If you are saying Brady is playing poorly right now because of BB the GM then exactly how much of a G.O.A.T. can Brady really be. I am not saying that but that is what dispariging one guy sounds like to me.

Also If Brady starts playing well and Amendola ends up staying as healthy as anyone really is "during" a season, and Edelman and Gronk are able to continue to stay healthy. Vereen returns and Ridley and Boldins knees feel even better. The two rookies continue to improve and Brady has his offense working well down the stretch then any praise to Brady also goes to the GM as well at that point.

They are often all tied together. Frankly I am surprised you do not understand or know that. You might be an antogonist but you aren't dumb.

    Re: Brady Using Shoulder Excuse

    It's his shoulder.

Unlike Miami, New England is likely worried about the play of its quarterback. For Tom Brady (-4.2), the sample size is now too large to ignore as he is having his worst season in recent memory. Some of the team’s offensive struggles can certainly be attributed to the massive turnover at receiver and injuries to key players, but Brady has not helped matters by consistently missing open receivers. Brady’s Accuracy Percentage (adjusted for dropped passes, throwaways and spikes) ranks 27th among qualifying QB’s, a shocking figure for a player known for his precise passing.

Do they adjust for badly run routes? Which seems another issue with this crop of new receivers.  Unfortunately there is no way in knowing the pass Brady threw to a spot, at which the receiver was not there, constitutes an inaccurate pass or the receive missed making the adjustment on his route.  Not saying he is completely blameless, but, to get this bad in just one season?!  There are more factors at play which stats can't account for and Rusty's opinion TB s*cks now.
