Re: Brandon Jacobs in New England???

I'd love to spend some of these picks occasionally to attempt to get better and younger.  Send them 1 of our backs and a 5th or later pick for him.  We need some new blood at RB.  We need to start picking up these type guys when they are available.  He would be much happier here as the "primary" back, with law firm, faulk, etc for changes of pace and breathers.

I know only two games, but 24th in NFL for the run...makes Pats offense way too predicable...he is due 13.2 million over 3 years...will Kraft want to take on that salary???doubt it...

He would help the Pats big time...

So someone thinks that we need another injury prone RB?

I would love to this happen.
BJacobs is one of my Favorites.
give him a fresh slate a fresh O line and this guy will be the ultimate beast
well worth the money or hopefully get some type of buy low trade

    Nope.

Not worth whatever they would pay.

Best days are behind him.  Why do you think he's crying for a trade?

I want Larry Johnson - he is a bruiser too and will cost us nothing!  He can still do it big time for Pats!

Instead of trading for a back or a defensive front seven player, why don't we just sign a no name TE or DB to our practice squad? Never a bad time to do some all important shuffling at the very bottom of our roster, so we can be good 5 years from now when Brady is gone.

What did he do to the tissue paper Colts rush-D?  8 yds on 4 carries? Really, he's going to help the Pats?

Mankins for Jacobs is such a ridiculously lopsided trade is not even funny. Jacobs is a flat out average player.

Listen; This is bold but Brandon Jacobs reminds me of Christian Okoye who blew up for KC long ago but went BUST shortly after... He is too BIG to maintain speed and agility with age.

Jacobs doesn't even look like the 2006, 2007 version anymore he looks flat and out of shape...

Mankins was offered TOP guard money for being a Top 3 guard in the NFL behind Evans and Hutchinson...

There is no way i make this deal!

    Unless it looked like this;

Jacobs for Mankins a 2011 2nd round pick and a 2012 conditional pick.

Beside the Giants have the # 1 ranking offensive line in football what makes you think they want a guard?

No Way...that guy stinks! Barber or Lynch....im assuming barber since it would be dumb for the bills to trade within the division....unless for one of the 2nd, or 4th round picks....we'll see.....I like lynch overall, but would welcome barber....anyone else? naww give BJGE a chance
