Spikes' ran 1 of the slowest 40 yrds at the combine 5.0 doesn't have the speed for the NFL, makes the defense slower not quicker. -

does anybody have his short shuttle time, for an ILB that is more important to an ILB in the 3-4 especially because he will be the SSILB, and mayo will be weakside so.... he needs to be the faster one and there isnt a problem there -

Folks if Spikes needs to run 40 yards to make a play that would be more of an issue than his 40 time. Get it? The 40 time is a dumb stat for inside LB's making plays within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage.
