We'll have to wait until next year to see what Tate can do. -

Didn't Tate play last week as well? Either way, a disappointing end to his season. I can't wait to see what he can do next year when he's healthy. -

Is Isaiah Stanback going to be NE's Pat White? -

This blog has gone downhill fast since Riess left.Where is the mention of Tate to IR?Morris is ruled out for the game. Leave to the Herald to keep me informed.Wow. Never thought I'd say that. -

Posted by bostonreadercommentsGood question! I'm not sure how they'll use him. Scouts Inc. says he shows good potential as a kick returner. He returned a few kicks for the Cowboys when he was there. Not a bad average either. My guess is that he'll only play on the return team. The Pats are not a wildcat team. We'd probably use Edelman over Stanback if we were. -

Glad to see our new generation of crippled draft picks is coming along nicely. -

Too bad. I guess he tried to come back a little early. In his one game, he showed us he might have been a good returner this year.Oh well, if there weren't a ton of injuries with the Pats each year, I would think the end of the world is near. Just remember, our 2003 team won the SB despite being the most injured team in the NFL that year. -

Stanback was a better college QB than Edleman and Edleman is 5 foot nothing he can barelly see over Sea Basses but crack let allow attemp a pass in our offense.
Stanback is a 6'3" heafty burner... he has the size you would need to break out at WR in this league but clearly the boys thougt he was a dead project after one full year...
I am not sure what to think but i do not see the pats going wild horses with this guy out of the gate
I would like to see use use that lame attemp at a duoble reverse that the phins pulled last week where Ronnie brown took the direct snap with william on the wing motioning to Hennes side
if Adalious does not get lucky that would have been a killa play but there may be to much back yard football in it to make it worth the pats wild
I will say the idea of having a QB an RB line up neutrally behind the center and snapping with faulk of maroney in motion to the backfield
the design the phins used would confuse the crap out of me and i played MLB for 15 years... too bad they do not have a legitamate threat to throw the ball too or they would break away from the pack

Edelman will have to step up big as a receiver and return specialist to to fill the void left by Tate's absense. That might be a big loss. -

Did he re-injure or is this something new? I'm sure nobody knows, but I thought given the demands of his position that they brought him back too soon. Should have just let him have a "redshirt" season. -

It would surprise me if they ever used the wildcat offense, though I believe that it would be an element of surprise, that BB is probably saving for when its least expected, like the Super Bowl.....
