    Broncos Fans

I don't know any of them, but they look like a strange group from the photos of past games. Rocky Mountain Fever and all that
Yet,they know the Pats are the  "patsies" and have enjoyed the many thumping inflicted on the N.E. Patriots and TB. I think The Pats have a loosing record vs.. Denver. This might be a fun game to watch as long as Tebow stays out of the endzone. But you know those Bronco Blogers are coming to rub you the  wrong way, this week. You patsies!
Remember the playoff game a few years ago when Champ Bailey intercepted Brady in the Denver endzone and took it back 99 yds, run down by the Pats TE., Ben Watson??at the one yd line. . He caused Bailey to fumble at the one yd line and many say the ball went out o the endzone and should have been a Touchback and  the Pats ball at their own 20yd line. But the Broncos got it at the 1 yd line and scored
Did any one see or tape the play. There was another call , P.INT against Asante, I think. The back judge only a few yds away did not make the call. He ran 20yds up the sidelines to the side judge and conferred and then they ruled P.INT in he endzone.Enxtremely poor officiating
Denver scored after both of those plays
2 scores GIVEN to the Broncos. and that was the margin of the loss. TTTOOOO BBBaaadd in Denver. Let's hope it turns out differently this time Pats 38 Broncos 17.
     LIke the song says!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jesus is just Alright with me," But
"Just say NO to Tim Tebow"

    Go Patriots

I lived in Colorado Springs for 2 plus years in the 80s.  They love their team.  But I dont think they are coming here and posting.  Most of the "bronco" posters here are renamed trolls or angry Pats fans.  What are they angry about?  Beats me.  I guess we should win the Superbowl at least every 2 years or their friends make fun of them.  Or their moms.  I'm not sure.

I live in Colorado.....The majority of Bronco fans are fair weather/bandwagon jumpers......Before this year the majority of the people hated McDaniels and his pick of Tebow.  Many thought it was a waste of a draft pick on a "one" dimensional QB. Now those fans believe Tebow is in the same class as Brady, Rodgers, and Brees! These same fans are now thinking there will be a Super Bowl appearance this season.

living in denver, i gotta disagree rocky.  while probably half the people in this state not being natives probably hurts their fanbase, they still have tons of loyal fans, and i always see broncos gear year round on all kinds of people, and their season tickets are on a huge waiting list just like the pats.

i will say that many of them seem rather arrogent as far as their love for tebow, but many of my good friends feel the same way i do:  had our doubts in the beggining, saw alot of crappy football and last second wins, still doubtful, but like the guy.

it is one of the loudest stadiums to play in too.  those fans in the stands can be jerks tho

i would call them cautiously optimistic for the most part, but very very passionate

    Hey there,
Thanks for replying to my post. I hope it is a great game. It sure means alot to both teams. Hopefully the Pats Defensive secondary will recoognize that the people in the other uniforms are the opponents, and being closer than 5 yds away in coverage. is allowed.

So this is different than any other city in any nfl town how? All fans everywhere are fairweather because we love our team and when the mess up we complain. No different in Denver than Boston or Chicago or anywhere else.

when i went to the game in 09, they tried to kick me out... i was def not sober, but i wasnt causing any problems or anything.  pulled me outta my seat brought me into the isle and called a paramedic over saying they were gonna escort me out!!!  my buddy i was with was a denver fan and said "hey hes with me blah blah blah" and they let me go!

i read before i went there that they target opposing teams fans... not to say i wasnt drunk, but i was totally coherent, not being a jerk or obnoxious etc., i know how to act at sporting events.  either way, when i go to the game on sunday i dont plan on drinking so i just have to worry about my gf getting too drunk

Complaining about other teams fanbases is stupid.  The Broncos are a good NFL franchise with lots of success in their history.  Maybe Bronco fans should point to Foxboro being quite literally empty during the lean years in the early 90's and the plethora of Pats fans that have emerged since the Brady era began.

The old Mile High was considered one of the toughest places in the league to play and Invesco sports authority whatever field may get that rep too, the elevation is real and can hurt opposing teams.

    Re: Broncos Fans

I live in Denver area and the only teams the Denver fans hate are the Raiders and Chiefs. I'm not too sure how they feel about San Diego but I know Rivers is unwelcomed. It is like any other sports town, a great place to live. The fans are the same and both teams are more similar than not. There is a small group of Tebow fans in Denver area but most people I know are waiting for the shoe to drop. Josh McDaniels was despised and he is considered as a one-man wrecking ball, destroying a half decent Bronco team in a little less than two years. We are still trying to understand what he saw in Tebow to make him a first round draft pick. The guy is just horrible until and unless the opposition starts playing prevent defense. Since everyone believed that the Broncos would not have a winning record this year the turn around has generated excitement. Broncos have a better than average defense that is really winning these games. I believe Fox and Elway put Tebow in this year after Orton drove us to 1-4 in the hope that the fan base would see just how terrible Tebow plays, but it backfired on them and now they are stuck with Tebow, at least through some of next season. Neither has committed to Tebow as the franchise quarterback and there was speculation early on in the season that we would be in the lottery for Luck. That wish also fell apart when the team started to win these games in the last minutes of regulation play and overtime. At any rate there is a feeling of destiny here, some say it s divine intervention but I doubt God is an unrestricted free agent for the Denver Broncos

One three or four game losing streak and Tebow is back to reality. Elway does not think he represents the future for the Broncos. Winning hides alot of flaws. IMO Tebow's style of play could get him hurt in a similar way Vick got injured this year.

I expect fans of other teams to hate guts. Standard procedure in virtually all professional sports.

You can call out whoever you want, just know all negative things you have to say about another fan base exist within your own fan base.

I've lived in multiple places, including Denver, and more or less, all fan bases are the same.  Lots of good fans, some idiot fans, lots of bandwagon fans, etc...

There certainly are fairweather, idiot, and bandwagon fans on this board.......I know it happens with every sports team.  My brother-in-law is a Philly fan and I hear stories from him.

But this complete turn of fans with Tim Tebow is excessive here in Denver.  I just find it to be very annoying.  First year the majority of the fans think he is a bust and the second year the majority of the fans think he is the same category of Rodgers, Brees, and Brady.
