This is interesting.  If a contract is made it should be a bargin for the Pats.  We'll have a half way decent CB when Revis packs it up.  Nice wild ride so far.

Could he be our rotating #2 CB or possibly a CB/SS hybrid?  He has the size....

That would be your basic big corner right there.  At 6'4", 220 perhaps some time at safety as shinez points out.

    Re: Browner visiting the Pats..

Well, we know he would be a SS who could cover....something we haven't had in a while.  OR....he's one heck of a backup CB.  Gives me more of a warm fuzzy than 'Quice or anyone else they've had.

That is correct.  He can participate in OTAs and training camp but will miss first 4 reg season games and lose paychecks for the another four.

Would love this signing. I say either bring him in or Finnegan, they both bring  toughness to the secondary.

I'd sign him if for no other reason but to add length to the secondary! Let him play SS he's big enough!

[/QUOTE] It would be a nice signing if the Patriots can get him on a team friendly deal.

    Make him a SS, BB! 6'4 225 and runs a 4.6? SS!

    Re: Browner visiting the Pats..

if he signs, this could have nearly the same effect as Revis. No I am not saying he is that good, I am saying with Browner and Revis, playing press man, and Dennard, Ryan, and Arrington covering the 3-5 WR's, this is an awesome backfield. Just draft Calvin Pryor and add a pass rush (Jared Allen) and we set!
