    Bruschi a DC?

Wondering what you all think of the Pats hiring Bruschi as their DC for next year?  Otherwise, I don't see anybody out there who's available.

I think there is much to being a coordinator, but I think Bruschi'd be a helluva coach.

Not a DC, but he might be worth a look as a LB coach.

You can't just jump into a defensive coordinator position.  You work your way up after learning the coaching ropes.

I can tell you as a former player that it's a lot different just practicing and playing the game than teaching, coaching, and game-planning it.

But I agree with underdoggg that I'd love to see him coach (especially if Mike Patricia is promoted to defensive coordinator)

Maybe down the road but coaches have to work their way up through the ranks. He strikes me as the type of guy that might like that.
