I worked security for the Pats for a few years.  After Super Bowl 39 Teddy came off the team bus with his son on his head, just beaming from ear to ear.  He is definately one of the hearts and soul members of the team.
He will be a great loss to the PATRIOTS Family

Tedy Bruschi was an outstanding player, and moreover a class act on and off the field.  Bruschi played with heart and passion and gave it 110% on every play. Most players would call it quits after a stroke, but not Tedy, he never gave up.  Tedy Bruschi is an outstanding man, and strongly exemplifies what it means to be a Patriot, heck he symbolizes what it means to be an NFL player.  God Bless You Tedy, hope to see you on the sidelines coaching.

It is a sad day in Patriot Nation but there is something to be proud of in an icon going out while they are still on top and holding to their ideals.  Brett Favre could take a lesson from Tedy.  Good luck in all that you do in the future Tedy.  You will be missed.

Amazing how a DE/pass-rush specialist could turn into such a great ILB.  Hope he stays on as coach somehow.

    My favorite Bruschi moment.......

His first game-back after his stroke, Gillette stadium against the Bills; i was lucky enough to be there, when i think about it i can still feel the electricity that was in the air that afternoon....when he came out of that tunnel we all stood and cheered as hard as we could.

he made a play in Buffalo's backfield that absolutely sent the place into a tizzy; i get emotional just typing this.....I'll miss his play, his heart, his leadership, his professionalism, and his commitment to being a Patriot.  Good luck Teddy, you'll be sorely missed

Tedy may just be the last guy to start and finish a long career as a Patriot.  The thing about Tedy is that it's obvious he will do fine without football.

After SuperBowl 38 I went to the rally in Government Center and Tedy said something like "2 out of 3 is great, but 3 out of 4 is even better".  That type of spirit he showed for and with the team almost shows how they won SuperBowl 39!

The fact that he returned from a stroke is amazing. I don't think we can fully appreciate the magnitude of Tedy playing football after going through what he went through in '05. What we do know is that he is truly special in so many ways and an inspiration to all of us. Yes, he hasn't been the same player since '05 but every player in pro sports goes through this at some point (Varitek, for instance). Ask yourself this question; who would you rather have on the Pats come September 14th, Tedy or Paris Lenon? Thought so.

My favorite moment was the Miami "snow game".  Being part of that touchdown celebration was truly a great Patriot fan celebration.  I watched Tedy's news conference and it certainly is rewarding to see such a great football player and person retire on such a high note.  He truly is and will always be the "ultimate" Patriot player.  Tedy, thank you from all the fans for being the fantastic player and such a perfect role model for many Patriots to follow.  Hopefully, there is a place for you to continue to work with this organization and bring your passion and love of football to another level.  Best of luck to you and your family.

Tedy is an all time Patriot great and I will always admire him and am thankful for everything he meant to the Patriots and New England. My all time favorite Bruschi moment is the 2004 divisional playoff game against the Colts when he tackled and ripped the ball out of Domenick Rhodes hands for a takeaway. That one play to me epitomizes everything the Pats and Bruschi are all about! Good luck Tedy, we'll miss you!!!!

Godspeed with the rest of your career and I hope you end up back coaching with the Patriots in some capacity down the road.

I support all of Boston's sports teams but I only have one jersey and it is number 54 Tedy Bruschi.  The man played the game the way all players should play the game with heart and desire.

The Pats will miss his presence in the locker room and in the huddle.

    Good luck & good health

Sweet rebutal meathead.  What's the matter, didn't listen to Dale & Holley today to hear the most current B/S excuse you make....

Hmmm.  You guys haven't cheated in 3 games...One SUperbowl loss, One Brady Knee injury, and One Brady Shoulder injury

What have the Pats done in the last 5 years besides be exposed as cheaters with the help of the NFL itself??? A pack of drug addict, PED user, rat fink, cheaters.. Sweet.  Make sure your kid grows up to be just like them, dirtbag.
