It's Welkers fault  Tom Brady played like a total bum and looked worse than Tim Tebow?

Well, I kind of agree. I don't really care anymore about the 400 catches at five yards a clip during the regular season any longer. How many drops did this guy have during this post season? How many times did he get the ball in space and get caught from behind?

At 10 million or whatever they are going to have to pay him, we can spend it better elsewhere.

Welker's probably the only reason the pats were in the game.

That and a terrible gameplan

he's still a decent slot receiver and worth keeping for the right price. He isn't a number 1 or 2 though. drops too many passes. The Patriots need a legit reciever, which they don't have and they need to look for Bradys replacement. His game is short passes and the better defenses shut that down. I'd like to see a receiver that can get open and catch down the field and a quarterback that can throw it accurately.

welkers drop changed the outcome. send him to the colts where he can do what he does best....choke like gomer. send brady packing too, give me a mobil QB that has the balls to get the first down when its 3-2.

You can knock him for that drop, but what do the Pats really have at WR? Branch? Slater? Edelman? Ebert? Aiken?

There is a reason Welker has no rings.  He has had major drops in back to back playoffs.

No reason to hate Welker - but it really is time for the Pats to grow up and start making meaningful changes.
