I'm a hardcore fan too and I never read where only thompkins was having the dropsies. I read where almost all the receivers were having them. Why single out thompkins?

I'm not high and mighty, just tired of TFB never saying anything good about the Pats unless he's called out for never saying anything good about the Pats. Just like PatsEng.
Why single out Thompkins?  Because I had read Thompkins was having problems catching the ball and asked if anyone else heard or read that.  It was a simple question, I read where Brady was frustrated with receivers dropping the ball and the only receiver I ever read that was mentioned by name was Thompkins.  I have been high on Thompkins since last preseason.   Looks like you need to pay better attention and stop getting so defensive when I ask a simple question about something I have read or heard.

I write many good things about the Patriots, and yes I am also critical with some things too, there is nothing wrong with that.  Seems like you only like to focus on what I am critical about.  Relax dude, don't be such a hater.

I watched his post practice interview when he gave them a bone on the field. I was laughing the whole time.  Some of these drips don't get it. They still ask the questions they know he won't answer.

BB will NEVER, ever pick up the pom poms this time of year in particular nor praise any young player or rookie, so the media can just forget it.

Everyone is in pretty good shape and working hard, with much work left to be done.  Perfect.

    Thanks BB!

Hey guys I have a few questions following the teams OTAs. First I've read conflicting reports about how Kenbrell Thompkins had performed. Some say he looked great like he did last year around this time. And others have said he had dropped and bobbled some passes. How do you feel he did?

The reports you are reading about Thompkins being too inconsistent in OTAs were probably coming from me. So I agree with those reports. I’ve seen too many bobbled passes and suspect hands. He also struggled trying to work as a returner. I may stand alone on this, but I think Thompkins might be in a competitive fight for a roster spot. I’ve thought dating back to last season that he doesn’t catch the ball well or clean enough, or look like an overall fluid fit in the passing attack. We’ll see.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------

So there you go Rusty the DB who is on meds, living alone in his little rented condo bashing school teachers on this forum, and wheatfarmer who fell off his tractor on his head, and rtuinila the mouth breather taking up space here.  I posted one source that backs up my post, and I have read other sources making the claim too.

BTW, I stated in my post that I read Thompkins was having problems with catching the ball and ASKED if others have read or heard the same.  I wasn't bashing on the guy, I was simply stating what I read and asked others to confirm or deny.  And, since some of you have the small pea sized brain I will remind you that I was on here last preseason talking Thompkins up and saying I thought he could be one of the best Pats receivers, especially out of the slot.  So don't go acting like I am trying to bash the guy.

Looks like I just owned Rusty, wheathead and rat-uinila.

Since March 2013 you and PatsENg have joined the BBW/Cupcake Guild and think you haven't.

Well, as you can see, it's not just me who is onto you here.  You are an admitted Browns fan who came here in the 2000s to be part of our fanbase as a bandwagoner. Now that you get attention here as you root for Denver and the 49ers, with more frontrunning fanhood, you won't leave here because you get all your social life and attention here, which is clearly PATHETIC.

Go wank yourself to Welkie and Brady elsewhere.  You've been asked to move onto a Broncos board before.
Haha, you said I was trolling and making stuff up... Well I provided a source where it clearly states someone else has heard mixed reports about Thompkins and having ball issues and the writer clearly confirms Thompkins was having ball control issues.

    O-W-N-E-D !

And just as predicted... Your backpedaling and deflection has started.

I don't root for Denver, I told you before the season started they would be the team to beat to get to the Super Bowl last season and BINGO!!  I was correct.  Also told you before the season started their offense was going to light it up that season with that group of receivers.  BINGO!  They did, they broke records, our teams records to be exact.  I just tell it like I see it Rusty, any I am usually correct.  A far cry from your predictions where you are usually wrong.  I know it eats you up but learn to deal with it because you look like a fool trying to prove me wrong.

Congrats to Denver for beating the PAts at home by 10 points against our B Squad.

Did you also predict our 4 main starters down the middle and our best CB to not be available in the title game with Gronk missing again?

    I don't think you did.

Face it, you are one of these really gullible, scary adults who is easily led by the media.  Of course the media fawns over Gomie and any team that is perceived to be a team to knock off the Pats. Of course.

You're just too stupid to get that.

If the Pats had their best roster at least on the field, we wipe the floor with Denver last year. Wipe the floor.

Remember the comeback in November when the offense spotted the Broncos 24 points? Why do you think we came back? THe defense, you moron!  They were all over GOmer and got INts, etc. A somewhat healthy defense with Talib and Gronk available.

Get it? A team at least needs some kind of health to compete in a title game, you idiot.

Excuses, excuses!  The facts are......... what I predicted was going to happen did in fact happen.  And to also add that Amendola was injured just as I predicted and that he wouldn't be what you and a few others were saying he would be last season.  Dude, I have totally owned you on here for as long as I can remember.  Pitched a complete shutout to you last season and here you come on here saying I am the troll.  LMAO!!!  It's like I just can't make a wrong prediction or statement even if I was to try.

Others are onto you, too, as we see in this thread.  You think you have allies here, and it's just a vocal handful who also whack it to Brady 24/7 like yourself.

How's that Rodney Harrison hat you just so happened to have "in your office"?  What a dork.  I can just see you stammering and asking him for the autograph like a geek. lmao

-Easley is not signed because of the injury language the Pats are insisting on.

If the Patriots wanted an uninjured top ten player they could have traded up.  However, the going signing price for a top ten player is much higher than for a #29 pick.

The Patriots knew what they were drafting with eyes wide open.  If the front office wants special injury language, then they had better be prepared to offer Easley top ten money IF he remains uninjured, or they can just offer Easley #29 money straight up.  They can't offer #29 money IF Easley remains uninjured -- that's double dipping and the draft choice has a financial obligation to walk away from a bad deal.

    Re: Camp observations

Regarding comments here on Ridley: Aside from his fumble problems he has shown that he can not only get 3-5 yards pretty decently but that he can break 20-40 yards runs. THe talk about his lack of speed or lack of anything in his running (aside from the fumbles which hopefully are gone) is all fluff.

I too like Bolden but he is no Ridley (not to date anyway). Nor is he anything at all like Vereen in any way. He is a good tough back. But he does not seem to have good skills receiving - not that you cant throw it to him in a pinch but not as a talent, nor speed to break runs - not too much better then BJGE that way. A very solid dependable guy who gives you depth and can give you a couple of good games if the starter(s) are hurt. ALso good to spell guys. I like him but not as a guy getting top 2 RB touches.

White still strikes me as a potential Kevin Faulk. Not the guy you want in the game all the time but he can do it in a pinch. Better as a 3rd down type player. I see Vereen as being a better talent as a feature type back. But White has not even taken a snap in the pros so we will see.

Also liking the focus on the O line. Hoping it translates into a line that can really bring it in playoffs.

I have serious concerns about depth at TE and even LB though now a little less so with Anderson. I do expect we see 3 WR Os more often IF and WHEN Gronk is not available. I do not expect double TEs much this year. I would think we would see an extra O lineman rather than an extra TE. Still hoping they find a way to upgrade the 2nd TE. The more I think about it the more I am not convinced Keller is going to make a difference. But as with everything here the reality is I dont know.

Except I do know that Ridley (as with some other players) is sometimes thought of less as a runner because of some other defect (fumbles). Some people here seem to think if a player as a failing in one area it reduces their value in other areas. Not very realistic. Maybe they are science deniers? I dont know. I dont get it.

They can't offer #29 money IF Easley remains uninjured -- that's double dipping and the draft choice has a financial obligation to walk away from a bad deal.

paul why would they offer him top 10 money when there's a rookie wage scale ?

Agreed. Easley has no real leverage other than not signing, which in the long run hurts him, and vis a vis the team.

The flip side is while he is not signed, I do not think he was quite ready to be a full practice player yet.

Man! Did you pee in WazzuWheatfarmer and rtuinila coffee?  I understand Rusty's issues he just doesn't like anyone who disagrees with him on any topic. One minute your cool with him the next he is off the handle but your got some crazy hate coming at you.

I guess this board is just slowly going down hill. Instead of good debate, now its all about labels and bashing.  There used to be some passionate arguments and back and forth and it mainly stayed civil but god the polarization on the board is getting creepy.

It's been turning into, if you question any aspect of the team or a player gets you labeled a troll or a bandwagon fan (I mean really questioning the hands of a player with major drops issues last year as the 5th WR gets that label?). It's gotten to the point where you either have like a Bears fan from the SNL skit or you're a troll with some of these people. Heck even when they question BB at times it's right and you're wrong even if you said the same thing. The hypocrisy and over the top defense for having a healthy debate is starting to get silly. And once they targeted you as a "troll" it doesn't matter what you say you are always wrong, period.

Sure, sure. Does he know you bandwagoned to the fanbase after being a Browns fan all of your life? I bet he doesn't.

He probably wouldn't have signed it if he had known that. He would scoffed at your dork self and refused your geeky, teenie-bopper request.

Haha, you are such a tool.  See this is why nobody here likes you, you continue to lie, it's not a mistake, you just flat out lie even when you know better.  It was my Father who was a life long Browns fan, you know that.

Teenie-bopper request, lmao!  I had my Pats hat on at the time and he signed it, Sweet!  You know what is really funny... the last couple years we talked a lot about the Welker/Pats situation.  I can tell you right now he didn't like how it was handled.

Maybe I will ask Rodney to hold a sign with Rusty is a toolbag written on it and post the picture here! hahaha!  Classic!

    Rusty continues to get OWNED!
Yes, but you told the board you were such a huge Browns fan due to your father and a huge BB fan, big enough to change allegiances outright after Modell fired BB supidly so.

You then claimed to take 5 years off from watching the NFL only to show up here in 2000 as a Pats fan, randomly backing a team in transition and bloated contracts, simply because BB showed up here as a first time GM and being given a chance as coach again by a more genuine owner.

    Strange.

The story, to this day, still seems awfully odd to everyone here, even your allies. They cringe when watching you try to sell that fake story, Mr. Bandwagon.

Regarding the Thompkins/rusty/tfb12 thing...this is why I think rusty is one of the worst posters here...real news was reported by tfb12, yet it was discredited by rusty. Anything slightly negative is regarded as false or trollish behavior by rusty and ruins football conversation. On the other hand anything positive directed toward Tom Brady is to be denied...followed by personal attacks and pain killer addiction behavior.

That type of behavior discredits football talk and leads to meaningless conversation about this team (never mind the hijacking of threads do to back and forth bickering). Rusty=worst poster from the beginning of time to present.

There was no report of Thompkins playing poorly in camp.  He also was asked to source the evidence and he failed to do so, so it appeared like he was trolling, which is what he does.

I could see if Thompkins had repeat patterns of poor play, but one session of less than stellar play does not trump the overwhelming reps of great play from him reported by ALL ACCOUNTS, day after day and session after session.

As many have said, he and Boyce have turned heads in camp so far.  Trolling TFB12 tried to sneak in here and lie. That's what he did, you turd.

That little sneaky turd TFB12 knew he could drop in a very minor, in-passing observation, hoping to troll and not be questioned.

Well, he is not going to troll and not be called on it.

He did that to proactively deflect from a possible crappy January again from Brady.  That's what you and he do. You proactively scapegoat who is around Brady on this board here, so you can condition others to follow your warped and disingenuous fandom here.

You really are a miserable person who constantly has to instigate arguments.  Here are the facts that you continue to ignore.

I had read where Thompkins was having some drop issues in OTA's or mini camp.

I asked if anyone else had heard or read this because to validate what I had read.

I then sourced a writing that showed where another person has also heard or read that Thompkins was having ball issues.  He also said he was hearing or reading mixed reports and asked a member of the PFW media if it was true.

PFW reporter Andy Hart mentions that he has witnessed Thompkins having ball issues in mini-camp.

    SO.............

I asked a question, you jump all over me, call me a troll, saying I have not provided a source, that I am making things up, blah, blah, blah, and once again I prove you wrong.  Source provided, now you deflect and backpedal to try and keep your idiotic agenda going.  Once again I own you.  It's getting to be so easy to do to you these days.

and here is my favorite quote of yours..........

"He did that to proactively deflect from a possible crappy January again from Brady."

LMAO, My gawd, you are a toolbag, a nut job!

hey, new pats fan here.  ive always been curious how spygate actually worked so I figured this would be a great place to get it from the horses mouth.  I know the qbb helmet mic shuts off 15 seconds before the play clock runs out and its monitored by the nfl.  so did brady have a second hidden line in his helmet that relayed the stolen info right up to the snap?  if so, who was relaying the info?  thanks yall, good to be on board.
