Can we end the 4-3 Experiment

GUYS WERE SWitching schmes to a 43!

Unfortunatly this has failed for several reasons

VW- a way better clogging nose than penetrating 3tech
FAt Al- just evry mediocre we switch because of this guy and bad results
Sean Ellis- HORRIBLE id rather have Cunningham play ellis stinks
Linebacker switch up- mayo and spikes are both better in the 3-4 cunningham has some value and so does ninc.

Andre Carter has played well and can still be our situational hands down rusher i like his as that mark anderson gets cheap sacks not vorth much....could easily do what he does as a olb

I would say play carter as a 3-4 end he can hold up well vs the run and return vince back to his nose spot. Then let the slackers decide the other end

WOULD BE A LOT BETTER THAN WHAT WE HAVE NOW

We have more depth on the DL than at LB.  Why would we want to go back to a 3-4 (particularly with Mayo still gimpy).

Both systems work.  They didn't execute.

Last year, when we were giving up big 3rd down plays, same argument was made, but people were clamoring for a 4-3! We just don't have good D players and that is the problem, not scheme. If we had a Woodley, or Ware, or someone like Jared Allen, it will be a different story.

Your right but our best player on D wilfork is best in the 3-4 such same with mayo, and spikes You are right though we need a sack guy regardless of what position they play

I agree. It's not like last year as if the Patriots exclusively used 3-4 all the time...just like we were never going to exclusively got to a 4-3 all the time this year.

I couldn't care less what the team uses as long as the opponents are scoring less points than us when the time shows zero - and  we have a D that can be relied upon once in a while to win some games for the team.
